will force water up the intake tube, prime
the pump, and start filling the tank.

Filling the tank
Holding Water
If you want to conserve battery power or
just want to eliminate any water flow, you
can place the cap over the water inflow
tube after it is full to prevent the water
from draining out of the pump when the
switch is turned off.
Using the Tank | 9

The tube connected to the pump, protruding from the
wall, diverts and concentrates the flow of freshwater in
to the tank to create more current and circulation. This
will work well for most species of bait fish and fin fish.
The tube can be removed from the pump to reduce the
amount of current in the tank for smaller bait species.
Turn the pump off
1
Turn the drain tube counter-
clockwise and pull up to open
the drain. Once the drain is all
the way up, turn it slightly to the
left or right to hold the tube in
the up/open position.

Tank Care
Because the Livewell assembly contains electric components, use care storing it.
Proper maintenance is vital to keeping your Livewell working properly.
Washing
Keeping your well and pump clean by washing it in fresh water and letting it dry.
This will help to prevent salt and mineral corrosion.
Battery Care
When not in use, unplug the battery from the Livewell and keep it stored in a
dry place. If you are storing the battery for a long time, be sure to fully charge it
before storing. Recharge the battery for best care.
Mildew and Odor Prevention
When storing, you should allow the inside of the Livewell to dry and keep the
hatch open to allow for airflow.
