ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Carefully unpack the fixture. Lay out all parts on a clean surface.

2. Remove the Cover Screws (#7) from the Outer Sleeve (#8). Slowly lift the Outer Sleeve

Cover (#9) from the Outer Sleeve (#8), making sure not to displace the internal springs. (Fig.

1) Note: If the springs become displaced, replace them in their original positions.

3. Loosen the Terminal Screws (#10) for the Black (#11), White (#12), and Green (#13) Wires

and pull the wires out. (Fig. 1)

4. Loosen the Strain Relief Screw (#14). Push the Cable (#15) into the Outer Sleeve (#8) so that

the Knot (#16) slides out. Untie the Knot (#16). (Fig. 1)

5. Push more of the Cable (#15) into the Outer Sleeve (#8) until desired length is achieved.

Push an additional 6 inches of Cable (#15) into the Outer Sleeve (#8) and tie a Knot (#16) in

the Cable (#15) at the top opening of the Outer Sleeve (#8). Pull the Cable (#15) downward,

so that the Knot (#16) slides to the bottom of the Outer Sleeve (#8). Tighten the Strain Relief

Screw (#14). (Fig. 1)

6. Cut the Cable (#15) about 3 inches from the top opening of the Outer Sleeve (#8). Strip off 2

inch of outer sleeving from the top of the Cable (#15), revealing the Black (#11), White

(#12), and Green (#13) Wires. Strip of ¼ inch of insulation from each wire, revealing the

wire conductors. (Fig. 1)

7. Insert each wire conductor into it respective terminal, as shown. Tighten the Terminal

Screws (#10) securing all wires into their terminals. (Fig. 1)

8. Carefully tuck all wires into the Outer Sleeve (#8) and place the Outer Sleeve Cover (#9)

back onto the Outer Sleeve (#8), making sure the springs a located in their original positions.

Secure it in place using the Cover Screws (#7). (Fig. 1)

9. Slide the Glass Shade (#2) onto the Socket (#6) of the Pendant (#1). (Fig. 2)

10. Thread the Socket Ring (#3) onto the Socket (#6) of the Pendant (#1) to secure the Glass

Shade (#2). (Fig. 2)

11. Insert the G9 Bi-pin Light Bulb (#4) into the Socket (#6) of the Pendant (#1). (Fig. 2)

12. Thread the Bulb Protector (#5) onto the Socket (#6) of the Pendant (#1), covering the G9 Bi-

pin Light Bulb (#4). (Fig. 2)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: This product requires a Hampton Bay track that is pre-installed. Installation onto any other

brand track may not work.

1. Select the desired location on the Track (#17) for the Pendant (#1).

2. Identify the grounded side of the Track (#17) by finding the Ground Groove (#18) located on

one side of the Channel (#19). (Fig. 3)

3. Identify the Two Prongs (#20) of the Track Connector (#21), as shown. (Fig. 4)

4. Pull down the Outer Sleeve (#8) while simultaneously pushing the Strain Relief (#22) upward,

exposing the Track Connector (#21). (Fig. 5)

5. At the selected location, insert the Track Connector (#21) into the Channel (#19) of the Track

(#17) and twist it so that the Two Prongs (#20) turn toward the grounded side of the Track

(#17). Release the Outer Sleeve (#8), but continue to twist until it snaps into the Channel

(#19). (Fig. 6)

6. Installation is complete. Turn on power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Turn the light switch

on to activate the fixture.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE:

1. To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water,

never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture.

2. To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit

breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean

cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.

3. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth

to dust or wipe carefully.

LIMITED WARRANTY

The manufacturer warrants this lighting fixture to be free from defects in materials and

workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase. This warranty applies only to

the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this

product is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation, and your exclusive remedy, is

the repair or replacement of of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the

product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alterations, neglect

or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been

improperly installed, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied

with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an

accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, or faulty installation, or any other failure not

relating to faulty material or workmanship. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any

portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and

tear. The manufacturer does not warrant and specially disclaims any warranty, whether

expressed or implied, of fitness for a particular purpose, other than the warranty contained

herein. The manufacturer specifically disclaims any liability and shall not be liable for any

consequential or incidental loss or damage, including but not limited to any labor/expense

costs involved in the replacement or repair of said product.
