Onthecontrolpanel,neareveryknob,thereisa
diagramthatindicateswhichburneriscontrolledby
thatknob.
Thesuitableburnermustbechosenaccordingtothe
diameterandthecapacityused.
Asanindication,theburnersandthepotsmustbe
usedinthefollowingway:
Auxiliary12-16cm

Itisimportantthatthediameterofthepotbe
suitabletothepotentialityoftheburnersoasnotto
compromisethehighoutputoftheburnersand
thereforeenergywaste.
Asmallpotonalargeburnerdoesnotgiveyoua
boilingpointinashortenamountoftimesincethe
capacityofheatabsorptionofaliquidmassdepends
onthevolumeandthesurfaceofthepot.

GENERALFEATURES
OVENBURNERWITHTHERMOSTATCONTROL
Theovenisfurnishedcompletelyclean;itis
advisable,however,uponfirstuse,toturntheoven
ontothemaximumtemperature(position10)for
about15minutestoeliminatepossibletracesof
greasefromtheovenburner.
Thesameoperationshouldbefollowedforgrill
burner.
Thegasovenisprovided:
a)Ovenburner,mountedonthelowerpartofthe
oven(wattage:3200W).
b)Grillburner,mountedontheupperpartofthe
oven(wattage:2000W).
Thegasflowtotheburnerisregulatedbya
thermostatwhichallowstomaintaintheoven
temperatureconstant.
Theraisingofthetemperatureisdonebya
thermostaticprobewhich,tobeusedproperlysetin
astablemannerandmustbekeptcleansincean
incorrectpositionorencrustementmaycausean
alterationintheoventemperature.

Insertthedrippingpanintothelowestrackholdersof
theovenandinserttherodsupportintothe
intermediaterackholders.
Putthemeettobecookedontotherod,beingcareful
tosecureitinthecentrewiththespecialforks.
Inserttherodintothemotor openingandrestitonto
thesupportofthespitcollar;thenremovethegripby
turningittotheleft.
Therotationdirectionoftherotisseriecanbeeither
clockwiseorcounterclockwise.
Theovenisequippedwithalightthatilluminatesthe
oventoenablevisuallycontrollingthefoodiscooking.
Thislightiscontrolledbytheswitchindicatedbythe
symbolonthecontrolpanel(fig.3.9).

Donotstoreflammablematerialintheovenor
inthedishwarmercompartment.
Theovenmustalwaysbecleanedaftereveryuse,
usingsuitableproductsandkeepinginmindthatits
operationfor30minutesonthehighest
temperatureeliminatesmostgrimereducingitto
ashes.
Onlywhenthegrimeisparticularlyresistantitis
advisabletoincreasethecleaningtimeleavingthe
gasburnersonatthemaximumtemperature,with
theovenempty.
Itismandatorynottouseabrasivesubstancessoas
nottodamagetheself-cleaningcoating.
Alwaysswitchthecookeroffatthemains
isolatingswitchbeforecleaningor
touchinganyelectricalpart.

SUBSTITUTIONOFTHEOVENLIGHT
Beforeeffectinganyinterventiononthe
electricalpartsoftheappliance,the
connectiontothenetworkmustbe
interrupted.
Thebulbmustbeatyperesistanttohigh
temperatures(300°C).
BURNERS
NOTE:regularusecouldcausediscolouring
aroundtheburners,becauseofthehighflame
temperature.
Theycanberemovedandwashedwithsoapywater
only.
Theywillremainalwaysperfectifcleanedwith
productsusedforsilverware.
Aftercleaningorwash,checkthatburner-capsand
burner-headsaredrybeforeplacingtheminthe
respectivehousings.
Itisabsolutelynecessarytochecktheperfect
housingoftheburner-ring(figs.5.1-5.2)asan
incorrecthousingmaycauseseriousinconvenience.
Checkalsothattheelectrodesoftheelectricignition
arealwayscleantoensurearegularsparkshooting.
Theelectrodesmustbeverycarefullycleaned.

CHOOSINGSUITABLESURROUNDINGS
DISCHARGINGPRODUCTSOFCOMBUSTION
Intheroomchosentoaccommodatethegasappliance,there
mustbeanadequatenaturaldrafttoallowcombustionofthe
gas.
Thenaturaldraftmustbeproduceddirectlybyoneormore
ventsmadeintheexternalwallsandprovidingatotal
openingofatleast100cm².
Iftheappliancedoesnothaveano-flamesafetydevice,this
openingmusthaveanareaofatleast200cm².
Theventsmustbepositionedclosetothefloor,preferablyon
theoppositesidetothecombustiondischargeoutletand
mustbedesignedinsuchawaythattheycannotbe
obstructedeitherfromtheinsideortheoutside.
Whenitisnot possibletoprovidethenecessaryvents,the
draftmaybesuppliedfromanadjacentroom,ventilatedin
therequiredmanner,provideditisnotabedroomoranarea
atrisk.
Inthisevent,thedoorofthekitchenmustbeopenedtoallow
thedrafttoentertheroom.
Extractorhoodsconnecteddirectlytotheoutsidemustbe
provided,toallowtheproductsofcombustionofthegas
appliancetobedischarged(fig.5.4).
Ifthisisnotpossible,anelectricfanmaybeused,attachedto
theexternalwallorthewindow;thefanshouldhavea
capacitytocirculateairatanhourlyrateof3-5timesthetotal
volumeofthekitchen(fig.5.5).
Thefancanonlybeinstallediftheroomhassuitableventsto
allowairtoenter,asdescribedundertheheading“Choosing
suitablesurroundings”.
