Care and cleaning
Ensure that your fan is switched off and
disconnected from the power outlet before
cleaning.
•Carefullywipeyourfanusingacleancloth.
Donotuseabrasivecleanersorbrushesto
clean the appliance as these may scratch the
surface.
•Takecarethatexcessivedustdoesnotbuild
up in the air-intake and air-outlet grill, and

Nature mode
Naturemodeprovidesanextralevelof
comfort by simulating the natural rise and
fall of the wind over time. You can use this
mode on any fan speed setting.
TouseNaturemode:
1. Choose a fan speed.
2. Press the
mode
button on either the
towerortheremote.The
will illuminate
on the display screen.
Thefanwillnowvaryitsspeedeveryfew
seconds between the chosen fan speed, each
lowerfanspeed,andoff.Forexample,ifyou
set the fan speed to medium, the actual fan
speed will alternate between medium, low
andoff.TocancelNaturemode,Pressthe
mode
button on either the tower control
panel or the remote until the light is no
longer illuminated on the display screen.
Sleep mode
SleepmodeisidenticaltoNaturemodewith
the added advantage that the highest fan
speedgraduallydecreasesovertime.This
allows you to turn the fan on a high speed
setting last thing at night, knowing that by
the time you are asleep, the fan has switched
itself down to a slower speed.
TouseSleepmode:
1. Choose a fan speed.
2. Press the
mode
button on either the
tower control panel or the remote until the
illuminates on the display screen.
Thefanwillnowoperateinthesamemanner
aswithNaturemode,exceptthatafter30
minutes,themaximumspeedwilldecrease.
Eventually in this mode, the fan switches
down to low speed and alternates between
low and off.
TocancelSleepmode,Pressthe
mode
button on either the tower control panel or
the remote until the
light is no longer
illuminated.

Using the remote control
1.Removetheremotecontrolfromits
compartment at the top of the tower by
applying downward pressure to the bottom
of the remote as shown.
2. Point the remote towards the control panel
on the front of the tower to operate.

Changing the batteries
1. Open the rear cover off the remote control
unit.
2.Replacethespentbatterieswith2fresh
AAAbatteriesasshown.
3.Replacetherearcover.
Using the oscillation function
The70degreeoscillationfunctioncanbe
used on any setting.
1.Turntheunitonandselectanyfanspeed.
2. Press the
button on the tower control
panelortheremote.The'osc'iconwill
illuminate and the fan will begin to
oscillate from side to side.
Tostopthefanfromoscillating,simplypress
the button
once again.
Using the auto off timer
Theautoofftimerautomaticallyswitchesthe
fanoffafterapresetnumberofhours.To
activate this feature, simply press the auto
off timer button
on the tower control
panel or on the remote control unit.
1. Press the auto off timer button once to
switch the fan off after 1 hour.
2. Each subsequent press of the auto off
timer button will increase the number
of hours the fan will run before turning
off automatically by 1 hour increments.
Thedisplayscreenwillshowthenumber
of hours left before the fan turns off
automatically.
Tocancelthesetting,keeppressingthe
auto off button until it cycles past 12 hours,
to zero. It will then automatically return to
its normal setting displaying the ambient
roomtemperature.Theautoofftimerwillbe
deactivated and the fan will remain on until
it is switched off manually.
•Donotuseoutdoors.
•Donotrunthecordofthefanundercarpeting.
Donotcoverthecordwiththrowrugs,runners
orotherfloorcoverings.Arrangethecordaway
from traffic areas so that it will not be tripped
over.
•Donotusethisfanintheimmediatesurrounds
of a bath, shower, laundry area or swimming
pool.
•Besurethefanisplacedonadry,even
surface.Donotuseonsoftsurfaces,suchas
beds, where opening may become blocked.
•Keepyourfanawayfromheatsources,
corrosive gases and avoid direct sunlight.
•Thisfanisonlytobeusedwiththebasefitted
and in good condition.
•Disconnectthepowerplugbeforedismantling,
assembling or before cleaning.
•Alwaysunplugthefanwhennotinuseforany
long length of time.
•Thefanmustnotbeusediftheguardsare
damaged in any way.
•Donotinsertorallowforeignobjectstoenter
anyventilationorexhaustopeningsasthismay
cause electric shock or fi re, or damage to the
fan.
•Neverinsertfingers,pencilsoranyother
objectsthroughtheguardswheneverthepower
plug is connected, especially while running.
•Avoidtouchingmobilepartsofthefan.
•Donotattempttomoveyourfanwhilstitis
operating. If your fan needs to be moved,
please ensure that it is turned off and you use
the carry handle on top of the tower.
•Whenscrappingthefanattheendofitsuseful
life, follow local regulations.

Switching the fan on
1. Place the fan on a flat level surface.
2.Inserttheplugintoa230/240Vpower
outlet and turn the power on.
3.Pressthepowerbutton

4. Press the fan speed button
to select
low, medium or high depending on your
preference.
Switching the fan off
• Toswitchthefanoff,simplypressthe
power button
.
•Ifyouwillnotbeusingthefanforalength
of time, it is advisable to turn the power
off at the wall socket and unplug the power
cord.

Toselectafanspeed,simplypressthe
fan speed button
on the tower or the
remote. Each press of the button will
increase the fan speed and then return
back to the lowest speed again.
Locating Your Tower Fan
1.Alwayslocateyourfanonaflatlevel
surface.
2. Your tower fan should be located in a dry,
cool,wellventilatedlocation.Keepyour
fan away from heat sources, corrosive gases
and avoid direct sunlight.
3.Donotattempttomoveyourtowerfan
whilst it is operating. If your fan needs to
be moved, please ensure that it is turned
off and you use the carry handle at the rear
of the fan.

Join the tower to the base
1. Ensure power cord is unplugged.
2.Turnthetowerupsidedown.
3.Alignthebaseandthebottomofthetower
so that the two bosses on the base line up
with the large holes in the bottom of the
tower as shown. Ensure the power cord is
sitting in the cord track in the base.
4. Push the base down into the bottom of the
tower until is firmly held into position.
Screw the tower to the base
1. Use the 4 screws to secure the tower to
the base.
2. Stand the fan upright. It is now ready
for use.
