Chapter 1 Introduction
1.1 Product Overview
The router integrates 3-port Switch, Firewall, NAT-Router and Wireless AP. Powered
by 3x3 MIMO technology, the router delivers exceptional range and speed, which
can fully meet the need of Small Oce/Home Oce (SOHO) networks and the users
demanding higher networking performance.
1.2 Product Appearance
Your router may differ in appearance slightly from that depicted because of the
region and product version.
Note: MR50G (EU version) is used for demonstration in this guide.
1.2.1 LED Legend
The router’s LEDs are located on the front and rear panel (View from left to right).

SYS
On Orange: The Wireless function is disabled.
Green: The Wireless function is enabled.
O Power is o or the router is not working properly.
Flashing Orange: The system is starting up or the rmware is being upgraded.
Green: WPS connection is in progress.
WAN
On The WAN port is connected.
O The WAN port is not connected.
Flashing The WAN port is transmitting/receiving data.

1.2.2 Physical Interface
The following parts are located on the rear panel (View from left to right).

Power The power socket is where you will connect the power adapter. Please use
the power adapter provided with this router.
WAN This port is where you will connect the DSL / Cable modem, or Ethernet.
1-2(LAN) These ports connect the router to the local devices.
WPS/Reset Press this button for 1 second to use WPS function.
Press and hold this button for more than 5 seconds to reset the router.
Wireless
antenna To receive and transmit the wireless data.

2.1 Position Your Router
Ǵ The product should not be located in a place where it will be exposed to moisture or
excessive heat.
Ǵ Place the router in a location where it can be connected to multiple devices as well
as to a power source.
Ǵ Make sure the cables and power cord are safely placed out of the way so they do
not create a tripping hazard.
Ǵ The router can be placed on a shelf or desktop.
Ǵ Keep the router away from devices with strong electromagnetic reference, such as
Bluetooth devices, cordless phones and microwaves.
Generally, the router is placed on a horizontal surface, such as on a shelf or desktop.
The device also can be mounted on the wall as shown in the following gure.

Note:
The diameter of the screw head is 4.9mm<D<8.56mm, and the distance of two screws is 80mm. The screw that project from
the wall need around 3mm based, and the length of the screw need to be at least 8mm to withstand the weight of the product.

2.2 Connecting the Router
Before you start, turn o your modem, if any, and remove the backup battery if it has
one.
Note: If you already have a router and want to congure this new router as an access point to extend your network, refer to
Set Up the Router in Access Point Mode.
Follow the steps below to connect your router.
If your Internet connection is through an Ethernet cable from the wall instead of
through a DSL/Cable/Satellite modem, connect the Ethernet cable directly to the
router’s Internet port, then follow steps 4 and 5 to complete the hardware connection.
1. Turn o the modem and remove the backup battery if it has one.
2. Connect the modem to the WAN port on your router with an Ethernet cable.
3. Turn on the modem, and then wait about 2 minutes for it to restart.

Chapter 3 Quick Installation Guide
This chapter will show you how to congure the basic functions of your router using
Quick Setup Wizard within minutes.
The Router provides two working modes: Wireless Router and Access Point. You
can choose the mode to better suit your network needs and follow the guide to
complete the conguration.
3.1 Set Up the Router in Wireless Router Mode
In this mode, the router can provide internet access for multiple wired and wireless
devices. This mode is required most commonly.
1. To access the web management page, open a web browser and enter the default
domain name http://mwlogin.net in the address eld.
2. A login window will appear. Create a login password when prompted. Then click
Let's Get Started. For subsequent login, use the password you have set.
3. Select your Time Zone and click NEXT.

4. Select your internet connection type from the drop-down list.
Note: If you are unsure of what your connection type is, click Auto Detect. Since dierent connection types require
dierent cables and connection information, you can also refer to the demonstrations in Step 4 to determine your
connection type.
5. Follow the instructions on the page to continue the conguration. Parameters on
the gures are just used for demonstration.
1) If your ISP doesn't provide any information for internet connection, choose

Dynamic IP. Dynamic IP users are usually equipped with a cable TV or ber
cable.
2) If you choose Static IP, enter the information provided by your ISP in the
corresponding elds.
3) If you choose PPPoE, enter the username and password provided by your ISP.
PPPoE users usually have DSL cable modems.

4) If you choose L2TP, enter the username and password and choose the
Secondary Connection provided by your ISP. Dierent parameters are needed
according to the Secondary Connection you have chosen.
5) If you choose PPTP, enter the username and password, and choose the
Secondary Connection provided by your ISP. Dierent parameters are needed
according to the Secondary Connection you have chosen.

6. Click NEXT.
7. Personalize the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless network name and password, or
leave them as default. It is recommended that you set a strong password using a
combination of letters, numbers and symbols. Then click NEXT.
8. Conrm your settings and click NEXT.

9. It's done! You can also scan the QR codes to join the preset 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz
network.
