Safety Notes
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure
to follow the warnings and instructions may result in
electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
f Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the glue gun or these in-
structions to operate the device.
f Do not allow children to use the glue gun unless under the su-
pervision of an adult. Children can injur themselves.
f Children or persons with mental or physical limitations may
only use the glue gun and the charger under supervision or af-
ter having been instructed. A thorough introduction reduces
operating errors and injuries.
f Before each use, check the glue gun, charger, cable and plug.
If damage is detected, do not use the glue gun and the charg-
er. Never open the glue gun or the charger yourself, and have
repairs carried out only by a qualified repair person using on-
ly identical replacement parts. Damaged glue guns, chargers,
cables and plugs increase the risk of an electric shock.
f Do not leave the switched on glue gun unattended.
Protect the glue gun against heat, e.g., against continuous
intense sunlight, fire, water, and moisture. Danger of ex-
plosion.
f Do not touch the hot nozzle. Danger of burns.
f Charge the glue gun only with chargers recommended by the
manufacturer. Otherwise there is danger of fire.
f Keep the charge contacts on the glue gun and the charger
away from paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects, that can make a connection from one ter-
minal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fire.
f Have your glue gun and charger serviced only by a qualified
repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
f After use, place down the glue gun in a safe manner and allow
it to cool down completely before packing it away. The hot
nozzle can cause damage and/or burns.
f Do not use the cable for pulling the plug out of the socket out-
let. Keep the cable away from heat or oil. Damaged or entan-
gled cables increase the risk of an electric shock.
f Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the bat-
tery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with
water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritations or burns.
