Aria A4601 is a 4 input 6 output matrix A/V controller designed for whole-house audio systems.

The device is organized into 4 audio/video inputs and 6 audio/video outputs. It allows users to select any of the 4 source inputs and route them to any of the 6 outputs independently through the use of an IR repeating keypad (such as the A0127- Sold separately).

It is compatible with multichannel audio amplifiers, such as the A1260. The A4601R model is equipped with a rack mount faceplate to allow installations in a standard 19” equipment rack.

Limited Warranty
Channel Vision Technology will repair or replace any defect in material or
workmanship which occurs during normal use of this product with new or rebuilt
parts, free of charge in the USA, for two years from the date of original purchase.
This is a no hassle warranty with no mail in warranty card needed. This warranty
does not cover damages in shipment, failures caused by other products not
supplied by Channel Vision Technology, or failures due to accident, misuse, abuse,
or alteration of the equipment. This warranty is extended only to the original
purchaser, and a purchase receipt, invoice, or other proof of original purchase date
will be required before warranty repairs are provided.
Mail in service can be obtained during the warranty period by calling (800) 840-
0288 toll free. A Return Authorization number must be obtained in advance and
can be marked on the outside of the shipping carton.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights (which
vary from state to state). If a problem with this product develops during or after the
warranty period, please contact Channel Vision Technology, your dealer or any
factory-authorized service center.

The A4601/A4601R... is a 4 input 6 output matrix A/V controller designed for
whole-house audio systems.
The unit is organized into 4 audio/video inputs and 6 audio/video outputs.
The A4601 is intended to be used with a multichannel audio amplifier, such
as the A1260.
Any of the 4 source inputs can be selected and routed to any of the 6
outputs (or zones) independent of the other zones through the use of an IR
repeating keypad (such as the A0127- Sold separately).
The A4601R is equipped with a rack mount faceplate to allow installations in
a standard 19” equipment rack.
Control of the A4601... is accomplished
through the use of an IR repeating device,
such as the A0127 keypad. The A0127
already contains the IR codes necessary
to operate the A4601, but you may also
use a standard IR receiver or a 3rd party
keypad. When using a simple IR receiver,
you will need to program a learning
remote control with the IR codes for the
A4601. These codes can be downloaded
from www.channelvision.com, or learned
from an A0127.

Using the A0501 remote control...
The A0501 is designed to allow you to control your A4601 without having to
touch the buttons on the A0127. Simply point the A0501 remote control at the
IR sensor located at the bottom of the A0127 and press the desired button.
Downloading IR commands for the A4601...
If you don’t have access to the A0501 remote and you need to program a
learning remote, you can download the IR codes from the internet. IR codes
compatible with the Philips Pronto remote controls can be downloaded from
the following websites:

Zone Power - Turns on/off the zone you are in
Power - Master power for A4601 (turns all zones on/off)
Mute - Mutes the audio
for the zone you are in
VOL - Controls volume
for the zone you are in

Wiring the A0127 keypad...
Keypads connect to the A4601 through the
RJ45 jacks on the back panel of the A4601.
Connections to the A0127 may be
accomplished either by using the RJ45 jack or
the screw terminals provided on the back side
of the keypad. When using the RJ45 jacks,
simply wire both ends of the cable according
to the TIA568A standard. When using the
screw terminals on the A0127, make sure to
wire the RJ45 plug connecting to the A4601
as shown below.
Connecting a standard IR repeater to the A4601... A standard
IR repeating device may be connected directly to the A4601
allowing the unit to be controlled from a learning IR remote. The
connection is similar to the wiring configuration shown above for
the A0127, except there are only three wires as shown below.
Note: not all IR receivers have the voltage,
ground, and signal connections in the same
order as this diagram. Pin 8: +VDC, Pin 7:
Ground, Pin 4: IR.

When splitting the video signal from a source component, use
