Add Audio to Your Android Device
Prepare Your Android Device for File Sharing
Your Android device may require you to complete a couple steps before you can easily transfer files into ShurePlus PLAY.
When a mobile device is connected to a computer with a USB cable, the device automatically begins to charge. Follow these
steps to allow for file transfers.
Connect the Android device to your desktop computer with a USB cable
Open Settings to locate connection preferences
Select File Transfer
Use Windows Explorer to locate your Music folder. You should be able to drag and drop new files. Any audio files that are al-
ready physically stored on your device will be synced to ShurePlus PLAY when you open the app.
Important: An Android device will skip a corrupted track and move to the next playable track. Also, the player will not add a
track that is a duplicate of another.
Add Music Using Other Audio Apps
ShurePlus PLAY will automatically display files that are found in other apps on the device because Android apps recognize au-
dio files that are located throughout the device.

song categories.
Music Library Sync
The first time that you launch ShurePlus PLAY, the app will display notifications that song files have been found on your device
and are being added to the PLAY music library. Then, every time that you open the app, the Music Library will take a few mo-
ments to sync with the device. This means that any changes made to the audio files remains consistent across the device.
For large collections of audio files, this process might take a few minutes for the songs, and the associated artwork, to appear
in the music library.
Tip: For best results, keep the app open to allow for a complete, uninterrupted music library sync. Load time is dependent upon device type and library size.
Closing the app interrupts the sync process. If sync becomes interrupted, simply reopen PLAY and sync will resume.
How to Navigate the Play Queue

If you are listening to music and select another song, the play queue will clear and continue from the selected track.

In album view, listen to the album from any point by tapping that track. PLAY will play the album starting from the song you tap.
The previous songs are not played and the queue continues with the following tracks.
Shuffle mode randomly shuffles all of the songs on the album and stops when all of the songs have been played.
There are two versions of shuffle play.
Play Queue shuffle: Accessible from the song playing view, randomly shuffles all of the songs in the play queue.
Album shuffle: Accessible from album view, randomly shuffles all of the songs on the album.
When shuffle mode is turned off, the remaining songs in the play queue return to the original order, minus the songs that have
already been played. Tap Shuffle again to bring up another random track.
