models.

Overview

The new IBM 32 GB (1x32 GB, 4Rx4, 1.35 V) PC3L-10600 CL9 ECC DDR3 1333 MHz

VLP RDIMM for IBM BladeCenter HX5 is a way to add memory to IBM BladeCenter

servers, and meet many of your memory-intensive workload requirements.

The 32 GB 1.35 V 4Rx4 RDIMM:

• Provides up to 1280 GB of DDR3 Memory on a 2-socket HX5 with MAX5 and up

to 1024 GB per 4-socket HX5

•

Is a Quad-rank RDIMM that helps maximize performance with the Intel Xeon

E7-8800, E7-4800, and E7-2800 series processors of the HX5

• Is a 1.35 V low-voltage RDIMM that offers up to 20% energy savings over 1.5 V

• Supports running at both 1.35 V and 1.5 V

Compatibility

The IBM BladeCenter contains licensed system programs that include set

configuration, set features, and test programs. IBM system BIOS is loaded from a

"flash" EEPROM into system memory. This BIOS provides instructions and interfaces

designed to support the standard features of the IBM BladeCenter and to maintain

compatibility with many current software programs.
