• Prior to carrying out any work on the control system, disconnect it from
the power supply and secure it against inadvertent switching on.
• Drive systems may only be controlled by means of remote control
devices, if the operator has full view of the operating area!
Storage
• The control system must be stored indoors, in a dry room at an ambi-
ent temperature of between -20°C and +50°C.
Operational safety
• Ensure that the installation and operation of the system complies with
the applicable statutory safety regulations! For more information, con-
tact the local electricity supplier, safety authorities and trade organisa-
tions.
• Protect the power supply of the control system against surges or short-
circuits, etc. by installing circuit breakers or similar devices.
• Connect only one motor to the control system. If several motors are to
be operated through the same control, use a relay.
Remote control operation
• Operation by remote control is only permitted for devices and installa-
tions where there is no risk to persons, animals or objects in the event
of a transmission error or with systems that are equipped with special
safety devices to prevent such risks.
• All persons operating the system must be instructed in the safe use. If
there is a risk of injury or damage to property, or if the operated device
is not fully visible by the operator, the system may not be operated by
remote control.
• The radio remote control device may only be used, if the operator can
fully supervise the movement of the roller shutter, blind or awning and if
no persons or objects are within the movement range of the operated
device.
• Keep the remote control device out of reach of children or animals and
prevent any inadvertent use.
