then plug cord into the wall outlet. Never force or tamper with the
plug if it doesn't t, and don't handle with wet hands.
Inspect the Base, Cord, and Lid for t, seal, or damage before use.
Check the Steam Release Valve, Float Valve, Anti-Block Shield, and

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Do not leave appliance unattended where pets or children may come into
contact with the pot or when using the Saute program.
The total amount of pre-cooked food and liquid in the Removable Inner
Pot should not be over 2/3rds full. When cooking food that expands such
as rice, beans or dried vegetables, only ll up to 1/2 of the pot. Overlling
may clog the Steam.
Certain foods such as applesauce, cranberries, pearl barley, oatmeal and
other cereals, split peas, noodles, macaroni, rhubarb, and spaghetti can
foam, froth, sputter, and clog the Steam Release handle. These foods
should not be cooked under pressure cooking settings.
The Lid should be properly closed and locked in place before cooking
with any pressure settings.
Never cover or block the Pot, Steam Release Valve, or Float Valve while
it is in use to prevent serious accidents from over pressurization or
overheating.
Use extreme caution when removing the Lid. Do not open the cooker
until the cooker has cooled and all internal pressure has been released.
If the Float Valve is still up or the Lid is dicult to turn, it is an indication
that the cooker is still pressurized - do not force it open.
Never move the pressure cooker when in operation.
Do not lift and carry the unit with Lid handle, use side handles only.
Only use wood or plastic ladles or spoons to prevent the Removable Inner
Pot from wearing out or being scratched.
Please use caution when placing your Removable Inner Pot on ceramic,
stone, wooden, or other natural material tables/surfaces.
Some counter-top and table surfaces are not designed to withstand
prolonged heat generated by such appliances. Do not set the heated
pressure cooker on a nished wood table.
For safety, a shorter power supply cord (2-3 ft) is provided to reduce
the risk of entanglement and tripping. Do not drape cord over edge of
counter. Do not use with an extension cord. This appliance has a 3-prong
plug with grounding. To reduce the risk of electric shock, plug the power
cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
Unauthorized modications or adjustments to the product are not
allowed. All repairs should be carried out by the manufacturer or an
authorized service repair center. Please contact Customer Support for
repair inquiries.
Allow the appliance to cool before adjusting or removing parts. Only
use manufacturer authorized parts and replacements. Other parts may
damage the appliance or cause serious injury.
Follow general cleaning and maintenance guidelines when caring for the
unit.
Do not immerse the cooker base in water. To protect against electrical
shock, do not immerse the cord, power plug, or cooker in any liquid.
To disconnect turn settings to "O", then remove plug from wall outlet.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Do not pull
power cord to disconnect from the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and
pull to disconnect.
Store unit in a cool, dry location.
During initial use, you may notice some smoke and/or a slight odor.
This is normal and should quickly dissipate. It should not reoccur after
the appliance has been used a few more times.
If a fault code is ashing on the pressure cooker control panel, unplug it
immediately. Please refer the Troubleshooting section of this manual.

Our Electric Pressure Cooker is equipped with a multi-level safety and protection system.
If the temperature or pressure inside the pot ever exceeds the safety limits, this system
will automatically interrupt the cooking cycle and only resume once the pressure and
temperature are back to normal levels.
Safety Lid Lock: Prevents accidental opening while the cooker is pressurized.
Pressure will not build if the Lid is not shut correctly and has not sealed.
Steam Release Vent: Has an extended handle and is designed to keep hands away
from the top of the valve. Use protective gloves or a utensil to prevent burns.
Excess Pressure Protection: Stop pressurize while there is excess pressure to
maintain safe pressure level.
Pressure Regulator Protection: Regulates pressure based on type of program being

PARTS INSTRUCTIONS
1. Lid
The Lid has a safety lock pin. A sound will play when the Lid is being locked or unlocked.
Lock the Lid in place for pressure cooking programs to build pressure. Leave the Lid o
when using Saute. An Error code "Lid" will appear on LCD screen if the Lid is out of
locked position when positioned. While cooking under pressure, you will not be
able to open the Lid until all pressure is released.
2. Steam Release Valve with Handle
The Steam Release Valve is installed on the top of the Steam Release Pipe and used to
manually release pressure instantly. Make sure the Steam Release Handle is in the
"Sealing" position when cooking under pressure. Turn the Steam Release Handle
to the "Venting" position to manually release pressure after pressure cooking.
3. Float Valve
Controls the amount of pressure inside the cooker by allowing excess pressure to be released.
The Float Valve rises as the cooker heats up and pressure builds, then drops as pressure is
released. Do not open the Lid before the Float Valve has completely dropped.
4. Cool-Touch Lid Handles
Allows for easy handling and opening of the Lid.
5. Sealing Ring
Creates an airtight seal for the cooker to build up pressure. Check the Sealing Ring for any
cracks or damage before use.
6. Self-Locking Pin
Lid will lock automatically when it is properly aligned and closed.
7. Anti-Block Shield
Prevents the Steam Release Pipe and Steam Release Valve from being blocked.
(See picture in Page 3)
8. Removable Inner Pot
Ingredients should only be placed in this Pot.
9. Stationary Exterior Pot
This pot cannot be removed from the pressure cooker and ingredients should NEVER be
placed here directly. Before cooking, be sure to rst set the Removable Inner Pot inside
the Stationary Exterior Pot. Keep Dry.
10. Condensation Collector
Made of plastic, the Condensation Collector can be removed for drainage and cleaning.
It collects steam that condenses along the rim of the pressure cooker.
11. Control Panel with LCD Display
Allows you to select and adjust dierent programs. The LCD Display shows cooking
information and settings.
12. Temperature Sensor
Regulates cooking temperature inside the pressure cooker.
13. Heating Element
Heats the Removable Inner Pot when cooking, and regulates the cooking temperature
inside the pressure cooker.
14. Spoon Racks
Used to store the Rice Paddle and Soup Ladle.

PRESSURE RELEASE METHODS MANUAL
QUICK RELEASE
This method releases pressure in the form of steam in just a couple of minutes. When cooking has
nished, you can release the built-up pressure manually by turning the Steam Release Handle
to the "Venting" position. Always be cautious, protective gloves or a long utensil as a
stream of hot steam will shoot out of the valves. Once steam no longer escapes from the
vent and the Float Valve has dropped, you can now carefully open the Lid away from you.
Be mindful of any remaining steam, water, or oil as these may cause bums.
NATURAL RELEASE
This method is a much slower than the quick release method. When cooking has nished, let the
built-up pressure release on its own without turning the Steam Release Handle. This may take
10-40 minutes, or longer, depending on the amount of food in the cooker and the settings used.
You may wish to leave the Cooker on the Keep Warm setting while pressure is released, or you
can turn it o or unplug it so the contents will cool faster. Once the Float Valve drops down,
you can now carefully open the Lid away from you. As a precaution, you can turn the Steam
Release Handle to Venting to make sure all pressure has been completely released.
Typically, using the quick release method after 10-15 minutes of natural release will
have allowed enough time to pass so as not to aect the end result of the recipe.
