  • Hello, I am a chat assistant and I have read the installation instructions for the Rugged Ridge Universal LED Light. This document provides instructions on how to install the light, for example as a dome light in a JK. It uses 3 AAA batteries and can be mounted to any hard, flat surface. JK Header installation:
Step 1. Remove the mounting plate from the LED light by sliding to the side.
Step 2. Place the mounting plate on the soft top header centering it
between the visors and marking the mounting holes.
Step 3. Use the supplied screws to make the mounting holes for the light.
Use moderate pressure to get the screws started. Once both holes
have been made remove the screws and attach the mounting plate.
Step 4. Attach the light to the mounting plate by lining up the tabs and
sliding to the side to lock in place.
Note: The light will clip in and line up with the mounting plate in
only one direction.
