Hologic Aptima Auto Detect is a molecular in vitro diagnostic system for the qualitative detection and differentiation of Chlamydia trachomatis and/or Neisseria gonorrhoeae RNA in endocervical or vaginal swab specimens collected in the PreservCyt Solution Medium from women presenting with signs and symptoms of urogenital infection. The system can perform the entire testing process, from nucleic acid extraction to amplification and detection, fully automated.
