RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
Althoughallteasactuallycomefromthesamebush(camelliasinensis),
theirtasteandtypevaryaccordingtotheirregionofproduction,method
of processing (different fermenting, and drying processes and rolling
techniquesexist)andgrade(wholeorbrokenleaves,fanningsanddust).
– Greentea:Rolleddriedleaves,whicharechoppedandlightlyroasted
topreventthemfromfermenting.Leavetobrewfor3minutesonly.
Greenteasaresubtle-flavoured,oftenbitter,andverypaleincolour.
– Blacktea:Madefromolderleavesthatarerolled,driedandfermented
foraconsiderableperiod.Brewfor5minutes(orlongerforTurkishor
Russiantea).Givesapowerfultasteandasuperbcopperycolour.
– Oolongtea:Midwaybetweengreenandblacktea.Slightlyfermented.
Brewfor7minutes.Lighterintasteandpalerthanblackcolour.
– Never fill the kettle above the Maximum level mark, as boiling
watercouldescape.
– Neverusethekettlewithnowaterinit.
– Usethekettleforboilingwateronly.
6. PresstheOn/Offbutton(H) to switchon the kettle.The kettlewill
switchoffautomaticallywhenthewaterbeginstoboil.(Fig.6)
– Onfirstuse,toeliminateanydust,boilthekettletwoorthreetimes,
discardingthewatereachtime.Rinsethekettleandfilterseparately.
– Checkthatthekettlelidisproperlyclosed.
– Neveropenthelidwhilethewaterisboilingorcomingtotheboil.
7. Place the teain theteapot’sbrewingbasket(F). (Fig.7)Hookthe
brewingbasketinsidethelid.
8. Pourthehotwaterintotheteapotandintothebrewingbasket(F)
(inside the teapot),therebywettingthe tea and letting the leaves
releasetheirfullflavour(Fig.8).
9. Whentheteahasbrewedtoyourtaste,removethebrewingbasket
(F)fromtheteapot(Fig.9).Caution:thebrewingbasketmaybehot.
Yourteaisnowreadytoserve(Fig.10).
10. Ifyoureplacetheteapotonthehotplate(B),yourteawillbekept
warmautomatically(Fig.11).
11. Youcanswitchoffthehotplatefunctionbyswitchingoffthebutton
(A)onthetraytothe‘0’position(Fig.12).
– Neverplacethekettleorteapotinamicrowaveoven(duetothe
presenceofmetalparts).
– Donottouchthehotplate.
– Alwaysholdthekettleandteapotbythehandle.
