Before First Use
Check the product for transport damages.
Remove all the packing materials.
Clean the product before first use.
Fill the water tank (G) with fresh water up to the MAX marking and
assemble the product.
Plug into a wall outlet and operate the product for 30 minutes to burn
any manufacturing residues.
Unplug the product from the wall outlet.
Pour the water out from the water tank (G) through the spout (M).
DANGER
Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away
from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g.
suffocation.
Assembly
1. Fill the water tank (G) with fresh water. Ensure the water level is
between the MIN and MAX markings of the water gauge (K).
2. Install the steam guide (F) onto the water tank (G).
3. Install the drip tray (P) on top of the steam guide (F).

NOTICE
The duration of steaming depends on the amount of water
in the water tank (G). The duration varies from a minimum of 20 minutes
to a maximum of 60 minutes.

NOTICE
Do not add any spices, flavouring or essences etc. into the
water tank (G).

4. Install one to three steam tray(s) (Q) and steam basket(s) (C-E) on top
of the drip tray (P).
5. Place the food onto the steam tray(s) (Q).

To cook rice, put the rice pan (N) within one of the steam baskets (C-E).
7. Cover the product with the lid (B).
Operation
CAUTION
Risk of burns! Do not touch the product with bare
hands during steaming. Wear gloves to remove food from the product.

1. Connect the power cord to a suitable wall outlet.
2. Press the (T) to toggle between steaming functions. The

3. Press (V) to increase or (W) to decrease the steaming time
manually.
4. To use the delayed start feature, press the (U). The icon lights
up on the display (R). Set the timer using (V) to increase or (W) to
decrease the delayed steaming time (1minute–12 hr and 59 minutes).
5. Press the (S) to start the steaming timer/delayed timer.
6. To pause steaming, press the (S) once. Press the (S) again to
resume steaming.
7. At the end of the set steaming duration the timer sounds.
Theproduct stops steaming and automatically switches to keep
warm mode. The icon lights up on the display (R).
8. To completely switch the product off, press and hold the (S) until
the display (R) goes off. Now unplug the power cord from the wall
outlet.
NOTICE
To cancel all settings, press and hold the (S) for
2seconds. The alarm sounds and the product resets.
NOTICE
Do not operate the product without at least one steam
basket (C-E) and lid (B).
NOTICE
If the product is operated without water in the water
tank (G), the boil-dry protection function activates and automatically
switches off the product. The icon lights up on the display (R).
Allow the product to cool before next use.

General Tips
When using the product at high altitude, the steaming time may lengthen.
The steaming time for food on a single steaming layer is shorter than
that on multi steaming layers.
Place the food on the lowest layer if you are steaming
large quantities of food;
larger-sized food pieces; or
food that requires a longer steaming time.
Allocate space on layers for allowing maximum steam flow.
Defrost frozen meat or poultry before steaming.
Save liquids in drip tray (P) for making soup, sauces or gravy.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING
Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock,
unplug the product before cleaning.

the electrical parts of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the
product under running water.

Clean the product after each use.

To clean the base (L), wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers,
metal or sharp utensils to clean the product.
Dry the product after cleaning.
Descaling
To remove mineral deposits in the water tank (G) or on the heating
elements, fill the water tank with mixture of vinegar and water and
steam for 20 to 25 minutes. Rinse the water tank with clear water.
Storage
Store the power cord in the power cord storage compartment (H).
Store the product in its original packaging in a dry area. Keep away
from children and pets.
Maintenance
Any other servicing than mentioned in this manual should be
performed by a professional repair centre.
