Allow oil to cool, press red button to reset

Cooking oil at set temperature

Set thermostat if oil not hot enough

Adjust or replace microswitch

TIMER CAM MICROSWITCH defective or
out of adjustment
Adjust or replace microswitch
TIMER damaged
Replace timer
FRYPOT LID will not lower
LID O-RING is dry Lubricate o-ring with clean vegetable oil
CAM or PISTON dry, out of adjustment or
damaged
Replace, repair, lubricate or adjust cam
and piston
FRYPOT BLOCKS damaged or mis-aligned
Clean, repair and/or repair blocks
FRYPOT LID will not raise
CONTROL LEVER not pushed fully
counter-clockwise to unlatch cam detent
Rotate control lever fully counter-clockwise
to unlock, then fully clockwise to raise lid
Frypot under pressure
Wait for pressure to bleed off
IF wait is excessive, adjust valve actuator
LID O-RING is dry Lubricate o-ring with clean vegetable oil
CAM or PISTON dry, out of adjustment or
damaged
Replace, repair, lubricate or adjust cam
and piston
FRYPOT BLOCKS damaged or mis-aligned
Clean, repair and/or repair blocks
NOTE: Frypot cover may jam in the frypot. To release, tap the lid at the 12:00 position
while alternately turning the control lever clockwise and counter-clockwise, until CAM
DETENT clears PISTON BLOCK and allows lid to rise.
Use a leather-faced mallet to avoid damaging lid.
