KIT CONTENTS
These instructions are only intended for use by properly trained and qualified service technicians.
If you do not have technical training for this product, you should read the following procedure, in its entirety, to
determine if you have the necessary tools, instruments and skills required to perform the procedure. Procedures for
which you do not have the necessary tools, instruments and skills should be performed by a trained Hobart Service
technician.

INSTALL CHEMICAL PUMP ASSEMBLY
1. Verify the machine operates properly.
WARNING
Disconnect the electrical power to the machine and follow lockout / tagout procedures.
2. Remove the front panel (1, Fig. 2) and right hand side panel (2) by removing the four screws.

3. Open the machine hood slightly to remove the rear panel.

4. Remove the top of the rear panel by removing the top
four screws.
Remove the rear panel by removing the remaining four
screws.
4. Remove top trim cover (2, Fig. 4), rear upper trim panel
(4, Fig. 4), and rear side trim panel (3, Fig. 4).

5. Attach the cover plate to the rear panel (See: 5, Fig. 1).

WARNING
When performing service work, corrosive chemicals may be present. Exposure to these chemicals could
result in injury. It is very important to follow the manufacturer’s instructions as found in the (Material) Safety
Data Sheet/(M) SDS. Information regarding the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements can be
found in the (M) SDS that accompanies product, or can be found online.
6. Remove the bracket (1, Fig. 6), detergent port (2), and blue rinse-aid hose (3).

7. Install the new detergent port hardware.
A. Assemble the detergent port fitting (1, Fig. 7), gasket (2), and bushing (3).

B. Place the fiber gasket (4) between the bushing (3) and the chamber wall. Install into the back of the machine
as shown below.
NOTE: Ensure the fiber gasket is flush against the bushing and the machine wall.

C. Give the detergent port fitting a gentle slope (approx. 30 degrees) to avoid air bubbles and hose cracking.
D. On the inside of the machine, install the washer and nut onto the detergent port assembly as shown below.

E. Tighten the nut.
8. Loosen the drain hose clamp (1, Fig. 10), and move it out of the way.
NOTE: If you need additional space, detatch the drain hose.

9. From the right side of the machine, install the chemical pump assembly (2, Fig. 10) by tilting the assembly
downward.
10. Bend the mounting tab (1, Fig. 11) upward so it can be used to mount the chemical pump assembly.

11. Insert two mounting screws through the front frame holes (1, Fig. 12) and mount the chem pump assembly to
the dishwasher frame.

12. Insert the third mounting screw and nut through the tab (Fig. 11) and secure the chemical pump assembly. Use
the hole in frame base (2, Fig. 12) to access screw.

13. Route the detergent pump leads, rinse aid pump leads, and ground strap through the machine so they can be
connected to the control panel at 4TB.
A. Attach detergent pump leads to DET1 and DET 2 of 4TB.
B. Attach rinse aid pump leads to RNS1 and RNS 2 of 4TB.
C. Attach ground to the ground post (Fig. 13).

14. Route the longer rinse aid supply hose (blue) and the longer detergent supply hose (clear) around the
transformer and out of the back of the machine at the location shown below.

15. Apply the filter weight and filter to both hoses, and insert them into their respective external chemical buckets.
16. Route the shorter rinse aid discharge hose (blue) up to the rinse aid nozzle. Reuse the black screw cap to
secure the hose to the nozzle.

17. Route the shorter detergent discharge hose (clear) up to the detergent nozzle, and attach it using the hose
clamp provided.

APPLY DOSING OVERLAY
1. Remove the front panel if not already removed.
2. From the inside of the front panel, cut out the windows from the existing overlay.

3. Apply new Centerline or Ecoline overlay, as appropriate, on top of the existing overlay.
NOTE: If it's too difficult to apply the new overlay directly over the old overlay, remove the original overlay first.

SET CHEMICAL PUMP CONFIGURATION
1. Replace any removed panels and reapply power to the machine.
NOTE: Machine must be in ready (idle) state.
2. Press the Menu button to access operator program settings. Menu item "00" will populate in the upper display.

3. Press the green Start button to scroll to menu item "09" (Chemical Pump Control Menu).
NOTE: Bottom display shows current chemical pump control setting.
4. Set the chemical pump control setting to "1" by pressing the Menu (increase) (1, Fig. 21) or Delime (decrease)
(Fig. 21, 2) buttons.

5. Continue to next section. Do not exit operator menu.
SET DETERGENT CONCENTRATION
1. Press the Start button to scroll to menu item "02" (Detergent Setpoint).
NOTE: Bottom display shows current detergent dispensing settings in g/L: (default = 2.0 g/L).
NOTE: 1.0 g/L ≈ 0.1 % concentration (by vol.) depending on detergent type.

2. Adjust detergent dispensing to proper concentration by pressing the Menu (increase) or Delime (decrease)
buttons.
NOTE: Detergent dispensing amount can be set from 0.0 g/L to 20.0 g/L in 0.5 g/L increments.
3. Continue to next section. Do not exit operator menu.
PRIME DETERGENT PUMP
1. Press the Start button to move to menu item "03" (Detergent Pump Prime).
2. Press the Menu button to set bottom display value to "1".

3. Press the Delime button to begin detergent dispensing pump priming.
NOTE: Detergent dispensing pump will activate for 60 seconds. The decimal point in the bottom display will flash
while dispensing pump is on.
4. Verify detergent is moving from detergent bottle/container to machine through the tubing, and there are no air
bubbles in the tubing.
NOTE: When the ball in the detergent float sight has moved above “EMPTY” (Fig. 24), the detergent has been fully
primed.

NOTE: The priming process might need to be repeated at least 2 times to fully prime the machine.
5. Continue to next section. Do not exit operator menu.
SET RINSE AID CONCENTRATION
1. Press the Start button to scroll to menu item "04" (Rinse Aid Setpoint).
NOTE: Bottom display shows current rinse aid dispensing settings in g/L: (default = 0.6 g/L).
NOTE: 0.1 g/L ≈ 0.33 mL/cycle.

2. Adjust rinse aid dispensing to proper concentration by pressing the Menu (increase) or Delime (decrease)
buttons.
NOTE: Rinse aid dispensing amount can be set from 0.0 g/L to 2.0 g/L in 0.1 g/L increments.
3. Continue to next section. Do not exit operator menu.
PRIME RINSE AID PUMP
1. Press the Start button to move to menu item "05" (Rinse Aid Pump Prime).
2. Press the Menu button to set bottom display value to "1".

3. Press the Delime button to begin rinse aid dispensing pump priming.
NOTE: Rinse aid dispensing pump will activate for 120 seconds. The decimal point in the bottom display will flash
while dispensing pump is on.
4. Verify rinse aid is moving from detergent bottle/container to machine through the tubing, and there are no air
bubbles in the tubing.
NOTE: When the ball in the rinse aid float sight has moved above “EMPTY” (Fig. 27), the rinse aid has been fully
primed.

5. Open and close the door to save settings and exit operator program settings.
