Charging the Speaker
Before First Use
To charge the built-in battery, in OFF mode, connect the
USB charging cable to the Micro USB charging socket
and the other end to your computer or USB charging
device.
The LED will illuminate RED while charging. Once fully
charged, the LED will turn off.
To fully charge the battery before first use takes
approximately 8 hours.
• Charging the battery may take longer than normal if
you use the unit while charging.
• You can also use the USB charging cable as the power
supply source.
Charging on Subsequent Uses
Connect the USB charging cable to the Micro USB
charging socket and to your computer or USB charging
device.
The LED will illuminate RED while charging. Once fully
charged, the LED will turn off.
To fully charge the battery on subsequent uses takes
approximately 3 hours.

Connecting the Unit Using the Aux Cable
1. Connect one end of the audio cable to your media
device’s headphones output.
2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the
unit’s AUX socket.

Connecting the Unit Using Bluetooth® Technology
1. Switch on the unit.
2. It will beep and the LED indicator light will flash
green approximately once a second. The unit is in
pairing mode, or connecting to the device using
Bluetooth® techology.
3. Switch on your media devices wireless function
to connect using Bluetooth® technolgoy. Look for
LBTSS13 Speaker Stand in the list of devices with
Bluetooth® technology.
4. Select “LBTSS13 Speaker Stand. If asked for a
password, enter “0000”, else press Yes” or “OK” to
accept the pairing.
5. Once paired and connected, the unit will beep.
The media devices list will also show LBTSS13
Speaker Stand as “Paired” (unit is in OFF mode) or
“Connected” (unit is in ON mode).
You can pair with several devices. But you can only
connect, i.e, playback through one device at any one
time. Except the media device you want to use, ensure
you switch off the Bluetooth function for any other media
device paired with the unit and that you do not currently
want to use with the unit.

Media Playback Controls
There are no media playback controls on the unit. You
need to use your media devices playback controls as
normal.
Questions & Answers
• Pairing using Bluetooth® Technology failed.
• Switch the unit OFF then ON again. Select
“LBTSS13 Speaker Stand” again and accept the
pairing. Wait for the wireless device to confirm
and for the unit to beep.
• Media device, e.g., Tablet PC, does not list “LBTSS13
Speaker Stand”.
• Check your media devices wireless function is
turned on, so you can connect with Bluetooth®
technology.
• Check that the unit’s built-in battery is charged.
• Check that the unit is switched ON.
