therefor10-15seconds.ThenturnthekeytotheSTARTposition,andholditthereuntiltheenginestarts.Iftheengine
doesnotstartafter10-15seconds,turnthekeytotheOFFpositionandrepeattheprocedure.Oncetheenginestarts,
releasethekeyanditwillreturntotheONposition.Theenginewillidleinneutral.Theenginewillcontinuetoidleuntil

TheForward/Reversehandle(6)islocatedontherightsideoftheinstrumentpanel(Figure7).Thehandlehasthree
distinctpositions:FORWARD(A),NEUTRAL(B),andREVERSE(C).Pushthehandleuptooperatethevehicleinthe
forwarddirection,orpullthehandledowntooperatethevehicleinreverse.Theenginecanbestartedonlywhenthe
handleisintheNEUTRAL(middle)position.TheenginemustbeatidlebeforeshiftingtheForward/Reversehandle.

pressuretothebrakepedal,thenrmlypresstheparkbrakepedaluntilitlatchesintoplace.Todisengagethepark

Thefuelgaugeandhourmeter(8)arehousedtogetherontherightsideoftheinstrumentpanel(Figure7).Thefuel
gaugeoperateswhenthekeyswitchisintheONpositionandallowstheoperatortomonitorthefuellevelinthevehicle.
Thehourmeteroperatesonlywhentheengineisrunning,andshouldbeusedbythetrainedtechniciantotrackvehicle

tothelowoilwarninglight(9)(Figure7).Thedieselengineisliquid-cooled;iftheenginecoolanthasexceededits
normalsafeoperatingtemperature,thewarninglightwillilluminate.Ifthewarninglightcomeson,stopthevehicleand
allowittoidleforapproximatelyveminutesbeforestoppingtheengine.ContactaHusqvarnadealer/distributorora
trainedtechnician.SeefollowingWARNING.

Tosecuretheseatbelt,situpstraightandwellbackintheseat.Pulltheseatbeltoutoftheretractorandinsertthe
tabintothebuckle.Aclickwillbeheardwhenthetablocksintothebuckle.Positionthelapbeltaslowaspossible
onthehipsnotonthewaist.
Theretractorwilllockthebeltduringasuddenstop.Italsomaylockiftheoccupantleansforwardtooquickly.Aslow,
easymotionwillallowthebelttoextend,andtheoccupantcanmovefreely.Iftheseatbeltcannotbepulledoutofthe
retractor,rmlypullthebeltandreleaseit.Itshouldthenpullsmoothlyoutoftheretractor.
Toreleasetheseatbelt,pressthebucklereleasebutton(1)andallowthebelttoretract(Figure9).Ifthebeltdoesnot
retractsmoothly,pullitoutandcheckforkinksortwists.Thenmakesureitremainsfreeoftwistsasitretracts.
