designed for use as a through wall

flashing and damp proof course.

Air and Vapor Through Wall Flashing

Tape 3015TWF is an impermeable

membrane with an aggressive, high

tack acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive

that does not require the use of a

primer on most construction surfaces.

• Helps Reduce labor time by up to 20%. Comes on an easy-to-handle roll that

can be applied in just one step by a single applicator.

Flashing Tape 3015TWF in temperatures as high as 150°F (66°C) or as low as

0°F (-18°C).

• Durable lm designed to withstand wear and tear. The patented acrylic-based

adhesive can stick to a wide range of building materials, from concrete to metal to

wood – even when they’re damp.

• No primer required. Pressure sensitive adhesive technology eliminates the time

and materials usually required for applying air barriers.

• UV resistant up to 24 months.

Air and Vapor Through Wall Flashing Tape

3015TWF should be installed when outdoor temperatures are between

0°F to 150°F (-18°C to 66°C). Excellent adhesion to concrete, concrete block,

anodized aluminum, galvanized metal, exterior gypsum sheathing and plywood.

• Surfaces should be clean, free from dirt and debris and have not absorbed water.

• Surfaces should be free of any damaged, unsupported areas, sharp

protrusions or voids.

• Overlap all joints by 50mm (2"). Keep 3M

Air and Vapor Through Wall Flashing

Tape 3015TWF back 12mm (½") to 25mm (1") from outside face of wall or veneer.

• Detail work must be carefully executed to ensure a continuously sealed building

envelope: at all laps, seams, penetrations, and along top edges of 3015TWF, apply

a continuous bead of sealant such as 3M

™

Polyurethane Sealant 540. Form end

dams as required and use sealants at laps. Top or leading edge of 3015TWF must

be sealed to prevent rain water from migrating behind the membrane.
