feeder

welding
power
source
before
beginning
trigger
hold
control
in
stallation.
The
control
mounts
on
top
of
the wire
feeder
control
box
or
other
optional
remote
control.
The
control
connects
to
the
wire
feeder
control
and
welding
gun.
IMPORTANT:
When
using
a
DDSC,
plug
gun
into
DDSC
first,
then
plug
DDSC
into
trigger
hold
control,
and
trigger
hold
control
into
the
wire
feeder
(see
Figure
2-1).

Loosen
screws
on
front
sides
of
the
wire
feeder
control
box.
2.
Mount
the
trigger
hold
control
on
top
of
the
wire
feeder
control
box
and
secure
by
tightening
screws.
3.
Connect
plug
from
gun
to
matching
free-hanging
receptacle
at
rear
of
trigger
hold
control.
Align
keyways,
insert
plug,
and
rotate
threaded
collar
fully
clockwise.
4.
Connect
plug
from
trigger
hold
control
to
TRIG
GER
receptacle
on
wire
feeder
control
box.
Align
keyways,
insert
plug,
and
rotate
threaded
collar
fully
clockwise.

OPERATION
To
use
trigger
hold,
place
switch
in
TRIGGER
HOLD
po
sition.
The
gun
trigger
must
be
held
closed
momentarily
to
engage
the
trigger
hold
function.
Release
trigger
while
welding
and
hold
closed
briefly
at
the
end
of
the
weld.
Place
switch
in
NORMAL
position
when
trigger
hold
fea
ture
is
not
desired.
IMPORTANT:
Every
six
months
inspect
the
labels
on
the
unit
for
legibility.
All
precautionary
labels
must
be
maintained
in
a
clearly
readable
state
and
replaced
when
necessary.
