Safety Advices
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING
THE APPLIANCE AND SAVE IT FOR ANY FURTHER NEED.
Incorrect operation or usage is likely to cause damage to the
appliance and injure the user. Make sure that you follow all
safety instructions. Only use this appliance for the purpose for
which it
has been designed; we decline all responsibility in the
event of damage due to incorrect use or bad handling.
1. Before use check that the voltage of your wall outlet
correspond to the rated voltage manner.
2. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
4. Children shall not play with the appliance.

5. The appliance must not be immersed. Never place it into
the dishwasher.
6. Never let the machine operate while unattended.
7. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
8. Never use the appliance outdoors and always place it in a
dry environment.
9. Always remove the plug from the socket in case of any
malfunction, before filling or after use, or before cleaning.
10. Do not allow the appliance or its supply cord to touch hot
surfaces or to come into contact with any heat sources.
11. To reduce the risk of electric shock, never operate this
product with wet hands.
12. Never touch the hot surface of product. Use the handle
only or the button.
13. Never unplug or move the appliance by pulling the cord. Do
not wind the cord around the appliance or twist it
14. Stand the appliance on a stable, flat surface.
15. Never let the cord of the kettle from table pending.
16. Never use your kettle without water in it. Only use fresh
and cold water.
17. Never fill the water tank beyond the Max. Level. Do not use
your kettle in case of overflowing.
18. Never put the jug in an oven (including microwave oven) to
warm up water.
19. Do not forget that the temperature of water prepared is
high, handle with care the jug to avoid scalding.

20. The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
21. Always set any control to “off” before unplugging from the
socket.
22. Make sure the ambient temperature is above 0°C,
otherwise the appliance does not function properly.
23. Always descale the appliance regularly to ensure optimum
performance and prevent malfunction.
24. Make sure that the appliance completely cooled down
before cleaning.
25. This kind of appliance cannot worked continuously, it is not
a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make
temporary stops.
26. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all
times as it comes into direct contact with food.
27. Regarding the instruction for cleaning surfaces in contact
with food thanks to refer to the below paragraph
“cleaning” in manual.
28. Make sure the appliance is unplugged before inserting,
removing or cleaning.
29. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of
external timer or separate remote control system.
30. Never used the appliance :
ـ If the power cord is damaged
ـ In case of bad operation
ـ It has been damaged in any manner
ـ It has been submerged in water
ـ If you dropped it
31. Unwind the cord of its flat to avoid the superheating of the

32. The guarantee can only cover the manufacturing defect and
household use. All deterioration resulting of failure to
respect the safety instruction are not cover by the
guarantee.
33. All the appliances are submitted to quality control, some
tries are made with one of them taken at random, that’s
why there is sometimes tracks of use.

SPECIAL MEASURES
Warning:
- DO NOT remove the lid while the water is boiling.
- Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
- Use only cold water when filling the appliance.
- The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks.
- Insure that the appliance is switched off before removing it
from its stand.
- Avoid any spillage on the connector.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Advices of use:
1. Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to maximum capacity and boil. Disard the water and
repeat the process.
2. The kettle should always be unplugged when filling or adding water.
3. Fill the kettle with water to desired level. Do not overfill (risk of spillage).
4. Do not fill with less than 0.5L of water (“minindication), to prevent the kettle from running dry
while operating.
5. Do not fill with more than 1.5 L of water (“max” indication) to avoid any spillage.
6. Do not forget to close the lid after filling, otherwise the kettle will not automatically switch off after
use.
7. An automatic safety cut-out has been fitted for protection against overheating, it will operate if the
kettle is switched on when containing insufficient water. Always ensure the water inside the kettle
reaches the minimum mark on the water level indicator gauge. If the automatic safety cut-out has
operated, switch the kettle off, disconnect from the power outlet and allow the kettle to cool down
for 5 to 10 minutes. Then refill and switch on, the kettle will work as normal.
8. After boiling, the kettle switches off automatically.
Using Method:
There are 2 main using methods:
A. Fully boil water: boil water from room temperature to 100°C, no keep warm after water boiled,
after boiling, the kettle switches off automatically.

2. Put the base on the dry, smooth and horizontal plane, insert the plug into a socket. When
the kettle is inserted into the base, the power puts through automatically and appliance
makes a “bit” sound.
3. Press the On/Off button, appliance enters into standby mode, display light up, appointed
temperature function preset turns on.
4. Press the function button, 100°C indication light on, after 2 seconds start glisten, which
means appliance start boiling water.
5. When water reaches 100°C, appliance makes a “bit” sounds and stops boiling, display shows
water temperature. After ten minutes auto turn off, display turns off. When boiling finished,
you can press the On/Off button directly to turn off the appliance.
6. After use, disconnect the kettle from the socket.
B. Boil water directly to set temperature and keep warm: Direct boil water to set temperature
90°C, 85°C, 60°C, 40°C keep warm at set temperature for 2 hours then auto turn off.
1. Fill in water and close the lid.

3. Press the On/Off button, appliance enters into standby mode, display lights up, appointed
temperature function preset turns on.
4. Then press the function button, set the desired water boiling and keep warm temperature,
every press of the function button to change the setting: 100°C (fully boiled) > 90°C(Coffee)
> 85°C (green tea) >60°C (White tea) > (Warm water), repeat setting, the selected
temperature indication lights on.
5. After 2 seconds of finish setting, the temperature indication light start glisten, which means
appliance start boiling water to reach set temperature.
6. When water boiled to set temperature, appliance makes a “bit” sound and stops boiling,
then enters keep warm function, display shows water temperature.
7. When water temperature cools down below set temperature, the appliance will reheat the
water to the set temperature range.
8. If you don’t stop and turn off the appliance during keep warm function, the appliance will
keep warm for longest 2 hours, then auto turn off, display turn off.
9. During keep warm, you can press On/Off button resume to standby mode, then press again
to turn off the appliance directly.
10. After use, disconnect the kettle from the socket.
Notice:
Any time when you need to stop the appliance operation, press the On/Off button to stop it,
appliance resume to standby mode, then press On/Off button again to turn it off.
When turn on appointed temperature function and select 100°C, appliance will still turn off and
won’t keep warm after water boiled.

During boiling or just finish boiling, you can press the function button to change the operating
function.
This appliance has memory function, during keep warm, if you take the appliance away from base,
after you put it back, the keep warm function is keeping working.
Do not open the lid while pouring water.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the supply socket and fully cooled down before
cleaning.
2. To clean the exterior surfaces, slightly wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
3. To clean the inner walls of the kettle, use a soft damp cloth or a soft brush to remove the
residues.
Note: Never use abrasive product
4. Never immerse the jug kettle or its base in water.
5. Dish washer is forbidden.
6. The appliance has to be descaled regularly to ensure optimum performance. The frequency
depends on the water hardness and the boiling frequency.
If you begin to notice the increase of the noise during boiling, or if the kettle switches off
before water being boiled, this indicates that descaling is necessary.
Generally, the descaling should be done in the following periodicity:
- With soft water, at least once every 6 months.
- With hard water, at least once every 3 months.
You can use descaling agent (In this case read carefully the instructions supplied with the
product) or vinegar.
After the descaling, rinse the inner of the kettle thoroughly with clean water.
