with these instructions and in compliance with all codes and requirements of authorities

having jurisdiction. Failure to follow instructions could result in death, serious injury, and/

or property damage. The qualied agency performing this work assumes responsibility for

this installation.

Installation Instructions

Each kit includes a new switch and a new piece of tubing.

1. Turn off the gas and disconnect the electrical supply to

the heater.

2. Open the access panel door.

3. Change the Pressure Switch

Locate the pressure switch. Mark and disconnect the

wires. Carefully slide both pieces of tubing from the

switch. Remove the pressure switch.

Using the same screws, attach the new pressure

switch in the same location.

4. Attach the Tubing.

Models FE and BE - Re-use both pieces of

disconnected tubing. Attach the tubing from the

venter housing to the “-” (low) pressure port toward

the bottom of the switch. Attach the tubing from the

barb on the burner/control box wall to the “+” (high)

pressure port toward the top of the switch. Push the

tubing on so that it is attached securely.

NOTE: The piece of tubing in the kit will not be used.

Model TR - Re-use the longer piece of disconnected

tubing. Attach it to the “-” (low) pressure port toward

the bottom of the switch. Push the tubing on so that it

is attached securely.

Replace the shorter piece of tubing with the new piece

in the kit. Attach one end securely to the barb on the

burner/control box wall and the other to the “+” (high)

pressure port toward the top of the switch.

5. Reconnect the wiring.

6. Close the access panel.

Turn on the electric and the gas.

Operate the unit and check for proper operation.
