TROJAN recommends that all tness equipment be used in a supervised area. It is recommended that the equipment be
located in an access controlled area. Control is the responsibility of the owner. Keep children away from all equipment.
Parents or others supervising adults must provide close supervision of children if the equipment is used in the presence
of children.
INSTALLATION
TROJAN recommends that all equipment:

• Besetupinsideyourhomeawayfrommoistureanddust(theequipmentisnotdesignedforoutdooruse).
• Besetupwithsufcientventilationtoensureproperoperation.
• Besetupwithsufcientspacearoundtheequipmentsothatallexercisescanbecompletedsafely.Itisrecommended
thatthereshouldbeatleast1mofspacearoundtheequipmentwhereaccessisrequiredtoexercise.

STEP 1: FRONT STABILISER ASSEMBLY
• AttachtheFrontStabiliser(55)ontotheMainFrame(1)with
twoM8x70mmCarriageScrews(88),twoM8-NWashers(39),
two M8 Spring Washers (65) and two M8 Nuts (87) using the Lug
Wrench (94).
STEP 2: REAR STABILISER ASSEMBLY
• AttachtheRearStabiliser(57)ontotheSeatTube(12)withtwo
M8x70mmCarriageScrews(88),twoM8-NWashers(39),two
M8 Spring Washers (65) and two M8 Nuts (87) using the Lug
Wrench (94).
STEP 3: SEAT TUBE ASSEMBLY
• RemovethePop-Pin(2)fromtheMainFrame(1)andslidetheSeat
Tube (12) into the Main Frame (1). Tighten using Pop-Pin (2).
NOTE: Pull the Pop-Pin (2) out of the Seat Tube when the distance
between Main Frame (1) and Seat Tube (12) need to be adjusted. Tighten
Pop-Pin (2) after adjustment.

STEP 4: SENSOR WIRE ASSEMBLY
• PulltheSensorWireoutofthepostoftheMainFrame(1),then
slide the cable set through the lower hole of the Upper Upright (16).
STEP 5: UPRIGHT ASSEMBLY
• AttachtheUpperUpright(16)ontotheMainFramewiththreeM8
x15mmScrews(85)andthreeM8Washers(86)usingtheAllen
Key (93).
• RemovetheScrew(53)fromtheUpperAdjustment(52)usingthe
Open Spanner and Screwdriver (34).
• SlidetheLowerAdjustment(95)ontotheUpperAdjustment(52)
and secure into the hole of the Upper Upright (16) by tightening
the Screw (53) using the Open Spanner and Screwdriver (34).
STEP 6: CONSOL ASSEMBLY
• ConnecttheSensorWire(45)tothecableontheComputer(79).
• ConnecttheHandPulseSensorWires(51)tothecablesonthe
Computer (79).
• AttachtheComputer(79)totheUpperUpright(16)withScrew
(80) using the Open Spanner and Screwdriver (34).

Hold the button for 2 seconds for total reset of all function values.
SET: Press to set function value.

and clear all functions.

7. CONDITIONING GUIDELINES
Howyoubeginyourexerciseprogramdependsonyourphysicalcondition.Ifyouhavebeeninactiveorareseverely
overweight,youmuststartslowlyandincreaseyourtimeontheequipment;afewminutesperworkout.Initially,youmay
beabletoexerciseonlyforafewminutesinyourtargetzone,however,youraerobictnesswillimproveoverthenextsix
toeightweeks.Don’tbediscouragedifittakeslonger.It’simportanttoworkatyourownpace.Ultimately,you’llbeable
toexercisecontinuouslyfor30minutes.Thebetteryouraerobictness,theharderyouwillhavetoworktostayinyour
targetzone.Pleaseremembertheseessentials:
•Haveyourdoctorreviewyourtraininganddietprogramstoadviseyouofaworkoutroutineyoushouldadopt.
•Beginyourtrainingprogramslowlywithrealisticgoalsthathavebeensetbyyouandyourdoctor.
•Monitoryourpulsefrequently.Establishyourtargetheartratebasedonyourageandcondition.
EXERCISE INTENSITY
Tomaximizethebenetsofexercising,itisimportanttoexercisewiththe
proper intensity. The proper intensity level can be found by using your heart
rateasaguide.Foreffectiveaerobicexercise,yourheartrateshouldbe
maintainedatalevelbetween65%and85%ofyourmaximumheartrate
asyouexercise.Thisisknownasyourtargetzone.Youcanndyourtarget
zoneinthetablebelow.
Duringtherstfewmonthsofyourexerciseprogram,keepyourheartratenearthelowendofyourtargetzoneasyou
exercise.Afterafewmonths,yourheartratecanbeincreasedgraduallyuntilitisnearthemiddleofyourtargetzoneas
youexercise.
Tomeasureyourheartrate,stopexercisingbutcontinuemovingyourlegsorwalkingaroundandplacetwongerson
yourwrist.Takeasix-secondheartbeatcountandmultiplytheresultsby10tondyourheartrate.Forexample,ifyour
six-secondheartbeatcountis14,yourheartrateis140beatsperminute.(Asix-secondscountisusedbecauseyour
heartratewilldroprapidlywhenyoustopexercising.)
Adjusttheintensityofyourexerciseuntilyour
heart rate is at the proper level.

8. WARM-UP AND COOL-DOWN
WORKOUT GUIDELINES
Eachworkoutshouldincludethefollowingthreeparts:
Awarm-up,consistingof5to10minutesofstretchingandlightexercise.Aproperwarm-upincreasesyourbody
temperature,heartrate,andcirculationinpreparationforexercise.
Trainingzoneexercise,consistingof20to30minutesofexercisingwithyourheartrateinyourtrainingzone.
(Note:Duringtherstfewweeksofyourexerciseprogram,donotkeepyourheartrateinyourtrainingzonefor
longer than 20 minutes).
Acool-down,with5to10minutesofstretching.Thiswillincreasetheexibilityofyourmusclesandwillhelptoprevent
post-exerciseproblems.
EXERCISE FREQUENCY
Tomaintainorimproveyourcondition,planthreeworkoutseachweek,withatleastonedayofrestbetweenworkouts.
Afterafewmonthsofregularexercise,youmaycompleteuptoveworkoutseachweek,ifdesired.Remember,thekey
tosuccessismakeexercisearegularandenjoyablepartofyoureverydaylife.
SUGGESTED STRETCHES
The correct form for several basic stretches is shown at the right. Move slowly as you
stretch, never bounce.
1. Toe Touch Stretch
Standwithyourkneesbentslightlyandslowlybendforwardfromyourhips.Allow
yourbackandshoulderstorelaxasyoureachdowntowardyourtoesasfaras
possible.Holdfor15counts,thenrelax.Repeat3times.Stretches:Hamstrings,back
ofkneesandback.
2. Hamstring Stretch
Sitwithonelegextended.Bringthesoleoftheoppositefoottowardyouand
restitagainsttheinnerthighofyourextendedleg.Reachtowardyourtoesasfar
aspossible.Holdfor15counts,thenrelax.Repeat3timesforeachleg.Stretches:
Hamstrings,lowerbackandgroin.
3. Calf/Achilles Stretch
With one leg in front of the other, reach forward and place your hands against a wall.
Keepyourbacklegstraightandyourbackfootatontheoor.Bendyourfrontleg,
leanforwardandmoveyourhipstowardthewall.Holdfor15counts,thenrelax.
Repeat 3 times for each leg. To cause further stretching of the achilles tendons, bend
yourbacklegaswell.Stretches:Calves,achillestendonsandankles.
4. Quadriceps Stretch
Withonehandagainstawallforbalance,reachbackandgrasponefootwithyour
otherhand.Bringyourheelasclosetoyourbuttocksaspossible.Holdfor15counts,
thenrelax.Repeat3timesforeachleg.Stretches:Quadricepsandhipmuscles.
5. Inner Thigh Stretch
Sitwiththesolesofyourfeettogetherandyourkneesoutward.Pullyourfeet
towardyourgroinareaasfaraspossible.Holdfor15counts,thenrelax.Repeat3

any obligation of the manufacturer in respect of any injury, loss or damage (direct, indirect or consequential) arising out of

PROOF OF PURCHASE
Any claim in terms of the warranty must be supported by a proof of purchase or a warranty number. Warranty numbers

If such proof is not available, then notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, the service agent’s prevailing charges
for services/repairs including call-out and/or spares will be payable by the consumer upon collection or delivery of the
repaired product.
During the warranty period the product may only be serviced and/or repaired by the manufacturer’s duly authorised
agent(s).

have the fault rectied speedily and professionally.

• Call0861 Trojan (0861 876526) to log the faulty product (under warranty or out of warranty)
• Theoperatorortechnicaladvisorwilltryidentifythefault,andwillbookaserviceteamcallout.
• Theserviceteamwillendeavourtoxtheprobleminyourhomeonanagreeddateandtime.
• Onlyifthefaultcannotberepairedintheconvenienceofyourhome,willtheserviceteamtakethe
faultyproductbacktotheservicecentre.
• Itemsrepairedinourservicecentrewillbereturnedtoyourhomeonanagreeddateandtime.

Should you live in an outlying area, it may be necessary to return the product to the store nearest to you. Our service operator
will advise you of your repair procedure.
