1. Disconnect power to the unit.

2. Remove front (operator side) louvered panel.

3. Remove the side louvered panel, using a 5/16"

wrench; remove the two screws at the back (customer

side) of the unit.

4. Inspect the thermostat probe lead for damage.

If damaged replace with part number 226837.

5. Mark the bottom inside ange of the side panel at 2"

and 4" from the front (operator side).

6. Using a pliers, bend the area between the marks up

approximately 45°.

7. Replace the side panel.

8. Replace front panel and reconnect power.
