Attaching the Roll Film Holder
1.
Remove the rear Body Cap from the camera
2.
Hold the Roll Film Holder at its Rubber Finger Rests (12)
3. Position and hook the holder’s Bottom Couplers (8) to the camera’s mounting bracket

Push the upper part of the holder against the camera body while pushing the holder downward until
it clicks and locks into place. Make sure that the holder’s Mounting Hook securely catches the
grooves of the upper part of the holder
Detaching the Roll Film Holder
1. Insert the Dark Slide (9) into the slot marked with white lines
2. Hold the Roll Film Holder at the Rubber Finger Rests (12)
3. Push the holder’s Lock Release Button (B) in while sliding the Detaching Button (A) downward.
The holder can be removed from the body. If the dark slide is not inserted into the holder, the
Detaching Button cannot be depressed.
The Roll Film Insert
1. Open the back cover by depressing the Back Cover Lock Button (A).
2. Position film in the direction shown.
3. Press in on both sides of the Attaching/Detaching Release and insert the Roll Film Insert into
the Roll Film Holder.
4. When the Roll Film Holder is pushed in, the Release will click and lock.
5. After the Roll Film Holder is locked into place, close the Roll Film Holder’s Back Cover.
Memo Clip
The Memo Clip on the Back Cover, see Fig. 3, is used to hold the end of the film box to indicate the type
of film loaded in the Roll Film Holder.
Film Speed Dial
The ISO setting on the Film Speed Dial, see Fig. 4, communicates the film’s ISO to the AE prism finder. Be
sure to set the dial correctly.
Winding the Film to the First Frame
Make sure that the film leader’s Double Arrow indicator aligns with the ‘Start’ mark on the Roll Film Insert.
When the Film Holder is attached to the camera body, rotate the Crank until it stops, see Fig. 6. The Film
Counter Window will display ‘1’.
When the Film Holder is not attached to the camera body, turn the Film Holder’s Advance Knob until it
stops and the Film Counter Window indicates ‘1’, see Fig. 7.
Make sure that the Multiple Exposure Lever is set to the White Square, see Fig. 5.
Removing Film from the Film Holder Before the Last Exposure
To rewind the partially exposed film, insert the dark slide into the Film Holder, and then remove the Film
Holder from the camera body.
Turn the Film Advance Knob while pressing in the Coupling Pin. Continue turning the Film Advance Knob
until the Film Counter Window indicates that the film has past the last frame number.
Precautions for Handling Film
Shade the film from direct sunlight when you load and unload the Roll Film Holder and load film into the
Film Insert.
Be sure to use the correct Film Insert for 120 and 220 film. 120 inserts can only be used with 120 film;
220 inserts can only be used with 220 film.
