• WARNING! Polythene bags over product or packaging may be

dangerous. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep wrapper away

from babies and children. These bags are not toys.

• ALWAYS keep out of reach of children (during and after use).

• This appliance should not be used, cleaned or maintained by

children.

IMPORTANT SAFETY

WARNING! Do not use this appliance near, bathtubs, showers,

basins or other vessels containing water.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

WARNING! Only use new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard

(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

• Do not use any other attachments with this appliance other

than those supplied with it.

• Always inspect the appliance before use for noticeable signs of

damage. Do not use if damaged or if the appliance has been

dropped. In the event of damage contact the Conair Customer

Care Line. No repair should be attempted by the consumer.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.

• This appliance should not be used by adults or children whose

lack of experience, product knowledge or disability might

cause a hazard, unless they have been correctly instructed and

are adequately supervised.

• Ensure your hands and the outside of the compartment are

completely dry before use.

• Do not use the appliance in the bathroom.

• Ensure hair is completely dry before use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Smoothwrap brush operates on two 1.5V AAA type batteries (not

included). To insert the batteries follow the instructions below:

• Remove the battery compartment cover from the unit.

• Insert two AAA type batteries per the markings in the battery

compartment.

• Replace the battery compartment cover back.

• Slide the on/off switch up to turn on the ionic function. The

indicator light will illuminate to show you the ionic function is

working.

• After each use switch the brush off.

Please note: Turning on the brush will automatically activate the

ionic technology. Any noise generated from the ionic generator is

normal.

WARNING! If the appliance remains unused for a while or if

the batteries have run down, remove them from the unit. These

precautions will extend the life of the product.

WARNING! Do not touch the multi-ﬁ bre negative ion dispenser.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING BATTERIES

• Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most

suitable for the intended use.

• Replace all batteries of a set at the same time.

• Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard

(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.

• Clean the battery compartment by blowing away any debris prior

to battery installation.

• Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity

(+ and –).

• Remove batteries from equipment that is not to be used for an

extended period of time.

• When batteries begin to fail, remove promptly.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

To make cleaning easier the head of the ionic brush can be

removed. We recommend cleaning your brush regularly to prevent

hair and styling products from building up.

WARNING! Do not immerse the brush in water or other liquids.

Replacing the Batteries

To replace the batteries once they begin to run down:

• Slide the switch to off position. Remove the battery compartment

cover from the unit.

• Remove the two old batteries. Replace with two new batteries

of the same kind. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or

rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

• Replace the battery compartment cover back.

BATTERY DISPOSAL

When replacing the batteries, make sure you dispose of the old

batteries in accordance with applicable regulations. They should be

disposed of in a location speciﬁ cally designated for that purpose

so they can be recycled safely without posing any risk to the

environment. Do not burn or bury them.

LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY

Conair will repair or replace, at our option, your

appliance free of charge for 24 months from the

date of purchase if the appliance is defective in

workmanship or materials.

To obtain service under this warranty, return the

defective product to the service centre listed

below, together with your purchase receipt.

In the absence of a purchase receipt, the

warranty period shall be 24 months from the date

of manufacture.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR

LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE

IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND

FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL

BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 24 MONTH

DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY

SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL

DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER

WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER.

This warranty gives you speciﬁ c legal rights, and

you may also have other rights which vary from

province to province.
