EXPLANATION OF THE IDENTIFICATION CODES USED ON THE LABELLING
CF = Fire damping Télé = remotely controlled SL = Free surface VCC = dc voltage
Auto = Automatic control E = Emission / R = Rupture E.Télé = Remote control input VCA = ac voltage
EI = Fire resistance rating
DETAILED CHARACTERISTICS
• 'Safe' position = closed - 'Standby' position = open
• Trip with intrinsic energy.
• Integrated Level 0 or 1 manual control.
• Trip by automatic control of a thermal trip with category 1 eutectic alloy, 70°C.
• For remotely controlled dampers, trip by electromagnetic trip, choice of:
– VDS 24 Vdc ➡
Voltage Uc = 24 Vdc / Power = 3.5 W / Current emission
– VM 24 Vdc ➡ Voltage Uc = 24 Vdc / Power = 1.5 W / Current breaking
– VDS 48 Vdc ➡ Voltage Uc = 48 Vdc / Power = 3.5 W / Current emission
– VM 48 Vdc ➡ Voltage Uc = 48 Vdc / Power = 1.5 W / Current breaking.
• Can be re-set after cold trip, either manually or using an EHOP 30S electric motor.
• Safe position contact FCU1: - mandatory for remotely controlled dampers,
- safety option for automatically controlled dampers.
• Standby position contact DCU1 in safety option.
• Additional safety (FCU2) and standby (DUC2) position contacts as additional function.
• The mounting is vertical (horizontal tunnel) and horizontal (vertical tunnel) except for ISONE +/Ap.
• The blade axis is horizontal or vertical.
• The air and fire flow direction is unimportant.
• After an endurance test of: - 150 cycles for the automatically controlled dampers,
- 300 cycles for the remotely controlled dampers,
the circular ISONE + fire dampers show the initial characteristics.

CONNECTIONS TO AERAULIC DUCTWORK
MECHANISM POSITION
The two metal sleeves on the circular ISONE + have male connections and are fitted with a stop ring to position
the female duct with ease. The damper should not support any forces exerted by the ducts.
A "leaktight seal" kit is available for all circular ISONE + to make installation easier.
The sleeves should be attached without mechanical pressure and should enable perfect alignment of the ducts
with the damper.
Depending on the dimensions of the damper, the mobile blade may require clearance in the duct.
The blade axis on ISONE+ dampers may be horizontal or vertical, so the positioning of the mechanism box is unimportant.
Note: the mechanism box must remain accessible after installing the damper. Ensure an inspection hatch is installed.

ISONE
+
EM - FdP
The opening must be planned to accommodate the dimensions stated in the previous pages. The minimum opening for
each Isone + EM or FdP diameter is given on page 4.
The sealing is simplified due to the offset mechanism of the firewall. The ISONE
+
EM and FdP dampers
are sealed with standard mortar (mortar for aerated concrete will be used for an aerated concrete support wall).
• 110 mm CONCRETE WALL OR 150 mm AERATED CONCRETE WALL
150 mm CONCRETE SLAB OR 150 mm AERATED CONCRETE SLAB
The damper is installed in a slab by simply sealing with traditional mortar (or for aerated concrete). There is no need
for additional fixing or suspension.
The damper is sealed with its mechanism against the slab; it can be positioned either on the surface or on the
underside of the floor.

Installation principle
The damper is fixed with screws through a suitably sized metal frame.

MAINTENANCE
- Take all suitable precautions for performing work on the mechanism of a rotating mechanism that features gears and
powerful springs.
- As all the elements should be powered using Very Low Safety Voltage, earthing is not necessary. We recommend that
work be done with power off, to prevent short circuits that may damage the device.
- The cover protecting the mechanism must be replaced in the correct position after each time it is removed.
- Depending on the type of building, periodical test manoeuvres are planned (see NFS 61-933). We recommend a
minimum of one annual manoeuvre inspection.
