Operations manual "NETBOX"
Range of applications:
The power strips "NETBOX" in the types M2, M3, M4, N, D, MEB2, MEB3, EB, K, ST1,
ST2, ST2FL, PB, M3S, Turn, Turn-Comfort, Axial, Axial Comfort, Global, Surf, Wave,
Varia and Line are intended for use in dry areas only. They may be used built-in or to be
mounted on furniture. The requirements for hollow wall socket covers are met.
For the grounding of electrostatic charges, the "NETBOX" is prepared on their underside
with a grounding clip, in which a ground line also can be inserted later.
The maximum AC load of the power strip is 15 amps / 1800 watts / 125 volts.
Prohibitions of apply:
The power strips "NETBOX" may not be used in wet areas. Any use, where a "NETBOX"
may come in touch with drip-, spray- or jetliquids or may be flooded with fluids, is
prohibited. The power strip should not be immersed in liquids.
The "NETBOX" is not explosion-proof, and may not be used in areas where an
explosive environment can be expected (areas where inflammable liquids are used), nor
should the power strip be used outdoors.
Caution:
Use only in dry location.
To reduce the risk of electric shock – use only indoor.
Do not plug into another relocatable power tap.
If more than 3 power outlets are connected in line, a thermal fuse of 15 amps must be
installed prior the power outlets. If "NETBOXes" should be connected to each other, the
first "NETBOX" needs to be equipped with a thermal fuse, no matter how many power
outlets are in line.
Power Supply Cord:
CSA Certified/UL Listed Type SJT or equivalent, No 14-3 AWG, 10m max lengt,terminated
ar a CSA Certified, UL Listed 15A, 125V, grounding parallel blade attachement plug. The
neutral conductor is connected to the rocker switch terminal by solder. The live conductor
is connected to the fuseholder by solder. The grounding conductor is connected via a UL
recognized screw terminal connector rated for 750V max.
Rating:
15 Ampere – 125 V AC – max 1800 watts
Repairs:
Any repair of a "NETBOX" may only be carried out by the manufacturer or his authorized
persons or firms.
The power strips are sealed by destructible labels and may not be opened. A destruction
of the seal releases the manufacturer from any warranty.

manufacturer.

Loosen the connector
The connection of the "NETBOX" is managed via connectors or couplers.
According to DIN VDE 0627 06.86, the connection must be disconnected from the
mains before releasing the connector. The following chart indicates the procedure.
1. First pull out the safety contact plug from the wall-socket of the house electrics.
2. Then push a screwdriver centered between the connector and the locking of the
"NETBOX".
Lift the screwdriver slowly upwards, contrary to the extraction direction of the
connector.
3. Unplug the connector from the NETBOX.
