Precautions for Installing the Infrared Receiver and Infrared Receiver/Amplier
Infrared Receiver and Infrared Receiver/Amplier will produce small amounts of heat. Provide
a minimum of 10 cm (4 in.) when installing the amplier close to the ceiling or wall. Infrared
Receiver and Infrared Receiver/Amplier are for indoor use only. They cannot be installed and
used in any of the situations below:
In a place where they can get wet
Where chemicals are used including under the eaves (ex. pool)
Places that contain high amounts of steam, oil, or a ammable atmosphere
Places where radiation, such as X-ray, high radio waves or magnetism are present
On the ocean, beach or near hot springs (where corrosive gases would be present)
In a place where high levels of vibration are present such as on a vehicle, or marine vessel
When using the provided bracket, note the following points:
Select a sturdy wall to install
Ensure that the appropriate fasteners or screws are used, and that they are rated appropriately
for the load they will be required to carry
Ensure that all the directions from the manufacturer of the anchor, fastener or screws are
followed
Do a visual check and make sure that nothing is unsteady and the screws are tight
Note the following points when tightening bolts and screws:
Proper torque must be applied to all bolts and screws
A torque wrench or a torque driver are required to set the proper torque
It is dicult to get the proper torque with an impact driver or electric driver even if it has a
clutch; therefore, they should not be used as they may damage parts for installation
Note the following points when installing the Ultimate IISE Infrared Receiver/Amplier into
a rack:
When mounting to a rack, remove the rubber feet from the base of the unit
When installing near other heat-sensitive equipment, install the other equipment lower
than the receiver/amplier system
Install rack in such a manner as to provide for sucient airow to maintain a temperature
of no more than 40 °C (104 °F) in the rack

Installing the Bracket
Installing MTBR-07S Bracket for the Achiever, Elite II, IR-2007 or RA101 Receiver/Amplier.
Please carefully read the following assembly, installation and safety instructions before
installing the MTBR-07S Bracket for the Achiever, Elite II, IR-2007 or RA101 Receiver/
Amplier.
1. Installation Surface: The enclosed accessories are suitable only for attaching to walls made
of solid concrete or wood studs. Do not install to sheet rock or wood panel.
2. Tighten all the nuts using appropriate wrench.
3. Make sure that MTBR-07S Bracket is installed so the tray is above average head height and
does not disturb free movement in hallways.
4. You must test the MTBR-07S Bracket before setting the receiver/amplier.
5. The maximum weight allowed on the mount is 55 lbs. (0.024947 mt).
6. Check that the receiver/amplier is securely fastened to the bracket so it will not fall forward.
7. One month after installation and every six months after that, check that MTBR-07S Bracket
is securely fastened to the wall and the screws and nuts are not loose. In case of weakening,
remove the receiver/amplier, and strengthen all the points that have weakened.
8. Before reinstalling MTBR-07S Bracket, remove the receiver/amplier and then remount
according to the manual instructions.
The Achiever, Elite II, IR-2007 and RA101 Receiver/Amplier on the MTBR-07S
Install the Achiever, Elite II, IR-2007 and RA101 Receiver/Amplier as described below.
1. Fix the main unit to the bracket. Use 2 screws to x the bracket to the side of the main unit.
The torque for the screws is 1.18 N*m±0.2 N*m (12 kgf* cm ±2 kgf* cm).
2. Fix the adjustment bolts. The torque for the screws is 1.18 N*m±0.2 N*m (12 kgf*cm±2
kgf*cm).
3. After installation, make sure nothing is loose. Do a visual check and make sure that nothing
is unsteady and the screws are tight.
4. Fix the wire loop to the wall.
Warning for the Installation of the Bracket
Fix the bracket and the wire loop to the wall.
Please ensure the installation is securely attached to the wall.
Wire Loop Requirement:
• Diameter: more than φ in.
• Material: High carbon steel wire rods
[Caution]
Conrm there is enough strength in the wall to support the infrared receiver/amplier with the
bracket. Do not install it in plasterboard. Reinforce it when strength is insucient. Secure the
AC adapter as follows when it is required to be installed higher than 30 in. from oor.
• Use metal tie-wrap and tie up the two parts with something secure:
1. The brick of the AC adapter (make sure to tie it using more than two tie wraps apart
from each other)
2. Direct Current (DC) side cable at a very close point to the brick.
