•Planaheadandhavetherequiredhardware,fastenersandtoolscloseathandbeforestartingthe

installation

Steps:

1.Measurealongbeamandmakevertical½”longverticalmarksfromtopedgeofbeam

2.PositiontheRafterClipsothatthebendisushwithtopofthebeamandthepointofthediamond

shapedcutoutiscenteredonthemarks

3.RemovethreadedcoversfromallHexCapNuts

  a.InsertLagBoltsintoCapNuts

  b.OWTLagBoltsrequirea3/8”HexBit

  c.ReplaceThreadedCoversuntilushwithedgeofthenut

  d.HINT:UsetreadlockonThreadedCoversinaccessibleareas

4.InstallLagBoltsintothebeam

5.Repeatforallotherrafterlocations

6.CentertherafteronthebeamandRafterClip

7.InstallLagBoltsintorafter

ProTechnique:Iftheinstallationrequiresthebracketstobemountedonbothsidesofthesame

boardbesuretoinspectthebracketstoorientatetheholessotheattachmenthardwaredoesnot

collide.NOTE:Thefastenerholesareoffsetoneachbracket.
