Product Change

Effective January 1, 2013: Due to regulatory restrictions and decreasing demand, 3M is discontinuing the

tin-lead contact plating option for the SMT versions of the 150 and 153 Series of 2 mm boardmount

sockets.

Last time purchases will be offered until close of business (Central US time) on December 28, 2012.

Replacement Parts

This series of products will remain available with a matte-tin RoHS-compliant tail option. In all cases, the

matte-tin contact code RB replaces the tin-lead TB plating code shown on the list below. Reference tech

sheets TS-0519 (150 Series) and TS-0521 (153 Series) for more details.
