Before You Begin
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Shut off the main water supply.
Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of

Installation
NOTE: For Model K-9511: Extend the pipe nipple 1″ (2.5 cm)
beyond the finished wall. For Model K-9512: Extend the pipe nipple
3-3/4″ (9.5 cm) beyond the finished wall.
Install a 1/2″ pipe nipple to extend the specified distance beyond
the finished wall for your particular shower arm model.
Wet the O-ring with water, then press the O-ring into the groove
on the backside of the escutcheon.
Slide the escutcheon with O-ring onto the shower arm.
Thread the shower arm onto the pipe nipple.
Using a clean strap wrench, securely tighten the shower arm to
the pipe nipple.
Press the escutcheon tight against the wall.
Run hot and cold water through the shower arm to flush out dirt
and debris.
Apply thread sealant to the shower arm adapter.
Install the showerhead to the shower arm. Refer to the
showerhead manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation.
