IMPORTANT NOTES

USE ONLY REESE SUPPLIED OR APPROVED BOLTS, LOCKNUTS,

AND WASHERS TO INSTALL THIS HITCH

TOOLS REQUIRED

100 LB./FT. TORQUE WRENCH

3/4” SOCKET

3/4” WRENCH

1. Screw pull-wire (55392) on 1/2” carriage bolt (A). Insert wire through bolt plate (B) and install bolt in existing hole in

frame using large rectangular hole in bottom of frame for access. Install in order shown in illustration, center bolt in

each side must go in last. Use side bracket for reference to determine correct holes. Repeat for other five carriage

bolts.

2. Place side brackets (C) and (D) against frame over bolts just installed and loosely assemble 1/2” lock washer (E) and nut

(F) on each bolt. Make sure brackets do not pinch any wires. Wires may need to be moved for clearance.

3. Install 1/2” hex bolt (G) and toothed washer (H) through hole in bumper bracket and through rear flange of side brackets.

Add lock washer and nut.

4. Position center section (I) between brackets and insert 1/2” rib neck bolts (J). Add lock washers and nuts and tighten.

5. Make sure hitch is centered and clear of gas tank, gas filler pipe, and wiring. Tighten all fasteners. Torque to 80lbs./ft.

(108 N*M).
