FOR YOUR SAFETY

Use the device only for the purpose for which it is intended, observing the safety precautions provided. The user is solely

responsible for any immediate or consequential damage caused by improper use. Do not operate the device if the cable or housing

appears defective in any way. A damaged cable cannot be repaired or replaced. In this case, the device is considered inoperable and

must be disposed of. Connection to the electrical power supply is only permitted with shock-proof electrical outlets according to

DIN/VDE 0100 Parts 737, 738 and 702. Operate the device only using a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current not

exceeding 10/30 mA. The power supply must match the rating plate specifications. Never carry or pull the device by the cord.

In order to guarantee safety we have encapsulated all electrical parts of the pump that are not insulated in synthetic resin. For

constructive reasons there remains an empty space in the rear part of the casing where water will collect during operation. This presents

absolutely no danger and warrants no further consideration.

Use in garden ponds or pools is only permitted when done in accordance with legal provisions. Consult a qualified electrician if you have

any questions.

The device must never be operated if there are persons in the water. Switch off the current to all devices that are connected to water

before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance work on the device.

The device must not be used in chlorinated water, acidic or alkaline solutions. The device is not designed for use in salt water. Do not let

the pump run dry. This can cause irreparable damage.

Operation

 The pump is driven by a magnetic impeller in a leak- proof synchronous motor.

 The water must flow into the inlet port of the pump under its own pressure. The pump is not self-priming.

 The flow of the pipe and the additional outlet can be adjusted by turning the regulation valves (models SP 1200 / SP2500 / SPF

3000 only).

 A built-in thermal cut-off switch automatically switches the pump off if it should overheat; when the pump has cooled down

sufficiently the switch automatically turns the pump on again.

START-UP

Only start up the pump in accordance with the safety instructions. Use directly in the water to operate fountains or pond figures. The

pump should be placed horizontally in the pond below the water level.

1. Fit the adjustable pipe with the desired accessory as included in the pump kit.

2. Place the device on a flat level surface which is raised from the bottom of the pond. This will prevent the pump from clogging up too

quickly.

3. You should however make sure that the motor axle is horizontal, as otherwise the axle will be subject to increased wear.

4. Make sure that the pump is filled with water.

5. The adjustable pipe can be swivelled in order to have the right position of the spray (models SP 1200 / SP2500 / SPF 3000 only).

6. The pump will automatically start when you plug it in at an electrical outlet.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Remove the plug from the electrical outlet before carrying out any maintenance work.

Clean the accessory mounted on the adjustable pipe and filter sponge on the pump at regular intervals, especially when you notice a

deterioration in the performance of the pump.

Cleaning

1. Remove the adjustable pipe.

2. Press the button(s) (A) and open the top part of the housing.

3. Take the pump together with the filter sponge out of the bottom part of the housing. Remove the filter sponge (B).

4. Clean the filter sponge by washing it out thoroughly under running cold water (C). If the pump is very dirty you should also clean the

impeller.

The filter sponge used in the model SPF3000 contains activated carbon; it should be replaced when necessary or each

year at the latest.

5. Open the bayonet connector of the pump chamber lid (3) by twisting it a quarter turn. Remove the pump chamber lid. Take off the

impeller (6) (pull firmly to overcome the magnetic force) . Be careful not to lose the rubber washers (7) and not to break the ceramic

axle (5).

6. Wash the impeller out thoroughly with clean, cold water (D). Do not to use any implement to remove dirt from the inside of the

pump but simply wash it out with water. Use a soft sponge to remove any dirt deposits.

7. Reassemble the pump by following the steps in reverse order. Make sure the rubber washers (7) and the O-ring (4) are seated

correctly. Take care when working near the electrical connection of the cord to the pump.

8. Insert the plug in the electrical outlet briefly (approx. 3 sec) to ensure that the impeller (6) is running trouble-free. A certain level of

noise is inevitable during this dry run. However, this is no cause for concern. When used in water, the pump should operate silently.

Storage in Winter

We recommend placing the pump in a water-filled vessel and keeping it in a frost-free room. Storage in water prevents deposits from

accumulating on the pump. If the pump is stored dry, these deposits can block the impeller.

Elininamos los eventuales fallos de

material o fabricación en el aparato

durante el plazo legal de la garantía y

mediante reparación o recambio,

El plazo de garantía es determinado

por la legislación de cada país en

cuestión en el que se haya comprado

el aparato.

Sólo asentiremos en ofrecer garantía

en los casos siguientes:

 Uso correcto del aparato.

 Observancia de las instrucciones de

servicio.

 Utilización de piezas de repuesto

originales.

La garantía se extingue, cuando:

 Se realizan intentos de reparación

por cuenta propia en el aparato.

 Cuando se realizan modificaciones

técnicas en el aparato.

 En caso de utilización no conforme

a la finalidad prevista, por ejemplo,

utilización industrial o comunal.

Quedan excluidos de la garantía:

 Los daños de lacado que tengan su

origen en el desgate normal.

 Las piezas de desgaste que en la

ficha de piezas de repuesto están

identificadas con el marco

 Motores de combustión: Para éstos

In caso di garanzia, rivolgersi con la

La presente garanzia lascia invariate le

rivendicazioni di garanzia legali

dell’acquirente nei riguardi del

Garantie

Durant le délai de garantie légal, nous

rémédions aux défauts de matériel et

de construction de l’appareil en

réparant ou en remplaçant, à notre

convenance.

Le délai de garantie est fonction de la

législation respective du pays dans

lequel l’appareil a été acheté.

L’application de la garantie suppose:

 Un traitement conforme de

l’appareil ;

 Le respect de la notice d’utilisation ;

 L’utilisation de pièces de rechange

d’origine.

La garantie est annulée:

 En cas de tentatives de réparation

sur l’appareil;

 En cas de modifications techniques

apportées à l’appareil;

 En cas d’utilisation non conforme

(par ex. Professionelle ou

communale, etc.).

Sont exclus de la garantie:

 Les dommages de peinture

survenant dans le cadre d’une

utilisation normale;

 Les pièces d’usure signalées sur la

carte pièces de rechange par un

 Les moteurs à combustion qui

bénéficient des dispositions de

garantie spécifiques du fabricant du

moteur.

En cas d’application de la garantie,

veuillez vous adresser, muni de la

présente déclaration de garantie de

votre certificat d’achat, à votre

service aprèsvente agrèe.

Cette accord de garantie ne modifie en

rien les droits à la garantie légale dont

bénéficie l’acheteur vis-à-vis du

vendeur.

Guarantee

will remedy any faults due to faulty

materials or manufacture at our

discretion by repair or by the supply of

spare parts.

The guarantee period is subject to the

current law of the country in which the

machine was purchased.

The guarantee ist only valid under the

properly.

 The operation instructions have

been followed.

 Genuine spare parts have been

used.

The guarantee is void if:

 Attempts have been made to repair

the machine.

 The machine has been altered.

 The machine has been used

incorrectly, (e.g. commercial or

communal use etc.).

The following items are excluded from

the guarantee:

 Paint damage due to normal wear.

 Wearing parts on the spare parts

card which are marked with the box

In the event of a claim under the

guarantee, please contact your dealer

remain unaffected by the terms of this

guarantee.

Die Garantie erlischt bei:

 Technischen Veränderungen am

 nicht bestimmungsgemäßer

Verwendung (z. B. gewerblicher

oder kommunaler Nutzung.)

Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:

 Lackschäden, die auf normale

Abnutzung zurückzuführen sind.

 Verschleißteile, die auf der
