INTRODUCTION
Dear customer,
You have chosen to purchase a QUINTEZZ Truck Coffee Maker. We thank you for this purchase and
hope that your experiences with this quality product will be pleasant ones.
Important notice:
Before first-time use of this unit, you should carefully read these user instructions so that you can then
connect and operate your coffee maker accordingly. Please keep these user instructions so that you
can reference them later on.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check the user instructions of your vehicle to determine if the socket and supply cable to the
cigarette lighter have a rating of 20 Amps. If this is not the case you can:
Connect to the car battery directly (this direct connection is recommended). When connecting to
the car battery ensure that the supply cable is protected with its own fuse (20 Amps). The supply
cable should not exceed 11 meters (24 V) and should have a minimum conductor cross section
of 4 mm². Always connect to a socket which is designed for a rating of 20 Amps. Make sure that
the battery is charged if you are using the coffee maker when the engine is switched off. Or
Connect the coffee maker to a supply cable designed for a rating of 20 Amps. The supply
cable must have a fuse of at least 20 Amps. Do not change the fuse rating!
2. Only connect the coffee maker to a direct current supply. The voltage indicated on the type plate
(bottom of the appliance), in this case 24V, must correspond to the voltage of your vehicle.
3. Pull the plug from the socket and switch the coffee maker off:
in case of a failure during operation,
prior to cleaning and care,
if the supply cable or the coffee maker is damaged,
if the coffee maker has a functional fault.
4. Never pull the plug of the coffee maker out of the cigarette lighter by pulling the cable.
5.
Do not allow the connection cable to hang down (danger of tripping) nor over sharp edges or corners.
6. Do not immerse the coffee maker, the plug or the supply cable in water.
7. Keep the coffee maker away from children and avoid touching hot parts of the appliance (e.g.
heating plate, glass jug).
8. Do not put the coffee maker on hot surfaces and keep away from fire.
9. Only operate the coffee maker under supervision and for its intended purpose.
10. Do do not operate when driving, to avoid cutting injuries and burns caused by sudden braking or
accidents.
11. Securely fix the coffee maker using the provided mounting bracket. Only place the coffee maker
on heat resistant surfaces.
12. Decalcify the coffee maker at regular intervals.
13. To avoid considerable subsequent damage to the device, only let a qualified expert repair the
coffee maker
.

OPERATION
Before using the QUINTEZZ Truck Coffee Maker for the first time, let water run through twice
without adding coffee. Afterwards, thoroughly rinse filter, glass jug and lid in hot water.
Follow the following steps to make coffee:
1.
Take the supplied filter (12) (or use a standard 1x4 paper filter) and put it into the filter basket (6).
2.
Add the necessary amount of ground coffee, approximately 1 measuring spoon (10) (ca. 7g per cup).
3. Insert the filter basket (6) into position. Turn the filter basket clockwise following the indication
“PUT IN” to lock into position (See picture A above).
4. Fill up the water container (2) with the required amount of water, put on the lid (1) and place the
glass jug (8) in position.
5. Turn on the ON/OFF switch (4): the red indicator lights up and the device starts working.
6. After the water has ran through wait approx. 1 minute until no more drips come from the filter.
7. Turn off the ON/OFF switch (4) after use. Remove the filter assembly only after the device has
cooled down (min. 10 min). Turn the filter basket (6) counterclockwise following the indication
“TAKE OUT” to unlock and remove (See picture B above).

Attention!
Do not leave the coffee maker switched on when not in use.
Do not put water into the hot coffee maker (wait approx. 15 minutes).
Do not fill the water container with hot water or other liquid to heat up.
The used filter bags and their content can be put onto the compost or into a biological garbage can.
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
Anti-drip function: the glass jug can be taken off the heating plate during brewing, the anti-drip
valve will function so that no coffee will drip. Dripping will start again once the glass jug has
been placed back in position. To prevent the filter from overflowing, never remove the glass jug
for more than 10 seconds.
Automatic keep warm-function: After the brewing has been completed, the keep-warm function
will start automatically if the appliance is still in the “ON” position.
Temperature control: If the device is left in the “ON” position without water or after having
finished brewing water, the temperature will increase and the temperature control function will
cut off the power automatically at the required temperature.
Thermo fuse protection: The coffee maker is equipped with a second temperature protection. In case
the temperature control function don’t work, the thermo fuse protection will cut off the power.
CLEANING
Clean the glass jug and filter in hot water after each use.
Prior to cleaning the coffee maker always remove the plug from the socket.
Only clean the coffee maker itself with a damp cloth.
DECALCIFICATION
In order to guarantee good coffee making results and extend the operating life of your device, you
should ensure that the coffee maker is decalcified after making coffee approx. 30–40 times. Signs
for a necessary decalcification are a longer operating time or louder operating noise.
Only use biological agents for decalcification. Under no circumstances vinegar, salts or sulphuric
acid should be used for decalcification.
Let the decalcifying agent run through the device two to three times (check the manufacturer’s
recommendations for use and dosing).
Allow clean water to run through two to three times.
Wash the filter, glass jug and cover with hot water.
FIXATION

Thanks to the included mounting bracket and screws the coffee maker can be fixed to a horizontal
surface, like a desk or coffee table.
Place the metal bracket over the heating plate and make sure it is placed in the correct position, as
shown in the illustration. Fix the bracket to the desk/table using the 2 screws.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection
facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available.
If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances
can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old
appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
