INTENDED USE
The cooler is suitable for cooling foods and drinks. The device is suitable for camping.
The cooler has been designed for operation with a 12V DC voltage source (eg. the cigarette lighter of a
vehicle) or alternatively for operation with a mains voltage of 220-240V AC.
The cooler can be operated independently a voltage supply with liquid gas (LPG).
IMPORTANT:
Place the cooler on a rm and level base. Check the horizontal position
with a spirit level if necessary.
Please note this cooler is an absorbtion cooler which is a silent operation.
OPERATING THE COOLER
Before starting your new cooler for the time, you should clean it inside and outside with a damp
cloth for hygienic reasons. Never use an abrasive product to clean the cooler.

OPERATING THE DEVICE SAFELY WITH GAS
This appliance shall only be used in an above ground open air situation with natural ventilation,
without stagnant areas, where gas leakage and products of combustion are rapidly dispersed by
wind and natural convection.
Only operate the device with gas outdoors.
Do not use gas to operate the devise in cars, boats or enclosed spaces.
When using the device in tents, awnings and on level patios, ensure that there is

circulation an ventilation.
Compare the pressure information on the type plate with the pressure information on the LPG
gas cylinder.
Do not use another source of energy at the same time (mains).
The label at the rear of the appliance gives the recommended gas supply pressure other than the
Store the gas cylinder in a cool, dry and ventilated area, protected from the sunlight and do not
expose to temperatures above 50ºC.
The safety pilot light automatically maintains the gas supply to the burner, as long as it remains lit.
CONNECTING TO A GAS SOURCE
Only use LPG gas bottles with an approved pressure regulator
Position the gas bottle vertically at a distance of at least 1 meter away from the burner, on the
back of the cooler.
Check if the valve on the gas bottle is closed.
It is recommended that the regulator supplied with this unit is used.
Connect the hose line to the head of the valve on the gas bottle and the cooler.
Note: It is possible to convert the POL regulator tting to a 3/4" BSP thread by purchasing
a converter from a reputable camping store.
The cooler can be operated independently of a voltage supply with liquied petroleum gas (LPG).
Operation of this appliance should be in accordance with any local gas regulation of AS5601.
The hose and regulator as supplied is designed to t a standard POL gas tting.
Make sure that the hose line:
-Is not crushed or kinked.
-Is a safe distance from the burner.
-Open the valve on the gas bottle.
Never check for leaks with an open
or near sources of ignition.
Check all connections with a leakage test spray. If there are no bubbles forming on the test, there
are no leaks.
Gas Valve Assembly:
This assembly consists of an adjusting devise with an incorporated safety pilot, a burner with an electric
lighter. The adjusting devise can be set to 3
positions.
Max: Maximum cooling
Min: Minimum cooling
Ignition position/burner gas supply closed
Ensure that:
The thermostat control dial for 220-240V operation is in the minimum position.
The battery plug is not connected.
Press the ignition switch and hold it down for approx. 10 seconds to force out any air in the hose
connection.
START UP:
Step 1.
Open the valve of the gas cylinder
Step 2.
Press and hold the adjusting knob at the same time, then turn the knob anti-clockwise to Max.
Step 3.
NOTE: If the appliance has not been ignited for a long period, or if the gas cylinder has been changed,
there may be some air in the duct, so it may fail to ignite.
If the appliance fails to ignite, try it again after approximately 10 seconds.
TO DISCONNECT FROM THE GAS SUPPLY:
Shut
the gas cylinder or the pressure regulator.
Turn the knob to the OFF position.
OPERATING THE DEVICE SAFELY WITH 230V.
Never use another source of energy at the same time.
Only use the connection cable supplied to connect the device to the AC mains.
Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
Before stating the device ensure that the power supply line and the plug are dry.
START UP:
Step 1.
Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the MAX position.
The
of the cooling process only become visible after an hour.
The thermostat enables the temperature of the refrigerator to be adjustable (0 = cooling process
stopped.
Step 2.
After a cooling period (approximately 5 hours), the thermostat can be set to an intermediate
position. The selected temperature is regulated automatically by the thermostat.
SHUT DOWN:
Turn the thermostat knob anti-clockwise to the 0 position.
Remove the plug from the wall.
OPERATING THE DEVICE SAFELY WITH 12V DC
Plug into 12V socket.
The fridge will operate at its maximium cooling, there is no temperature regulation when
operating on 12V.
To turn
remove cigarette plug from socket.
Measures to be taken after unused for a long period
If, after an extensive lay-up period, the refrigerator does not produce any cooling,
disconnect the appliance and turn it upside down for a few minutes then turn it the

mandatorily be carried out by a qualified technician.
Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs, carry out the following checks:
Is
the appliance installed in a horizontal position?
Is there sufficient ventilation?
For 230V mains operation, check that the mains supply is correct. And is the
thermostat set correctly?
For gas operation, is the burner ignited?
Has the ignition safety (adjustment) knob been set to MAX?
Are the gas cylinder valve and/or the pressure regulator open?
Is there still a sufficient quantity of gas in the cylinder? The cylinder is empty if
no liquid can be heard moving about when it is shaken.
Have two modes of energy (gas and electricity) been selected at the same
time?
Has too much food been placed inside the refrigerator all at once? Arrange the
food so that the air is free to circulate inside the refrigerator.
Do not use pieces cardboard or
plastic as separations. Keep vessels containing
liquids closed.
If, despite the above checks, you still need to contact the Customer Service Hotline
describe the failure and state the type of equipment and its serial number (these
are marked on the label).
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Place the cooler in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
Always cool the food or drink before storing them into the cooler.
Do not set the temperature colder than you require.
Do not open thecooler more than necessary.
Do not leave the lid open longer than necessary
