Thank you for purchasing the TRV-35SE integrated vacuum tube amplifier. Please read this
instruction manual carefully before using your amplifier.

I GENERAL INSTRUCTION
! Four EL34 are used for class AB push-pull amplification.
! The toroidal power transformer and EI audio output transformer are specially
manufactured for the TRV-35SE by applying our unique process, which has low
magnetic leakage, wide frequency response, and low impedance.
! Two 12AX7’s and one 12AU7 are used in the preamplifier.
! All-vacuum tube design.
! All hand-made.

III OPENING THE PACKAGE
Please check the carton carefully for damages before you open it. Place it on a flat
surface with the arrow pointing upward, remove the sealed tape, and open the carton. The
following items are included in the box:
o A TRV-35SE amplifier
o An operation manual
o A power supply cord
o Two fuses

Note: Please fill out your warranty card and hand it in to your dealer or send it to our
company’s sales department to ensure after-sales service. Remove the amplifier carefully,
watch the front panel, and read Diagram 1.
Note: Be sure to use at rated voltage. Please check whether the rated voltage marked on the
back plate corresponds to your line voltage. If it does not, please contact your dealer.
Suggestion: Keep the carton and other wrappings in good condition for future use such as
relocating the amplifier.

IV CONNECTION
Select the suitable output impedance for your speaker and connect the amplifier to the
speaker with a specialized sound cable – make sure to check the L and R channel.
Connect the amplifier to your sound source – do not confuse L with R. Select the
suitable input mode for the sound source.
Connect the power cord. First, insert the cord plug into the power socket. Next, insert
the other end of the cord into an electrical outlet.

V TURNING ON
Note: Be sure to set the volume to the lowest position before turning on the amplifier.
When you are sure the connections are correct, turn the amplifier on by pressing the
power button. The indication lamp will light up, indicating that the amplifier is working.
After preheating for several minutes, the amplifier will be ready for you to use. You may
then increase the volume to the desired level and enjoy the music.
Note: *To prevent damage to circuits, never short-circuit Positive (+) and Negative (-)
speaker terminals.
*Be sure to set the “VOLUME” control to the lowest position before turning on or
disconnecting the speakers while the unit is on.

! Do not attempt to repair the product by yourself.
! Product does not contain user-serviceable parts. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.
! Keep liquid away from the amplifier. If liquid spills into the unit, remove the power
plug immediately and consult your dealer.

VII WARRANTY SERVICE
" This product is under warranty for a 12-month period beginning on the date of purchase.
" To obtain warranty service, the warranty card bearing your dealer’s signature must be
returned to either your dealer or our company within 10 days of the initial purchase date.
" The defective product must be returned to your dealer or our company for repair when
your dealer or our company accepts your requirement.
" The warranty does not extend to any product that has been tampered with without
exclusive permission from our company.

electrical or electronic equipment. Always check the most obvious possible causes first. The
following are a few ideas of what to look for:
