How to Install Laser Level Sensor
Proteus L5 WiFi Laser Level Sensor is designed to monitor
water/ liquid level via laser time-of-flight technique. The
sensor node is installed at the top, facing down. A low
power laser beam shoots down to the liquid surface, and
reflected beam is captured, and distance is calculated.
Positioning the sensor
The Laser Sensor Node should be installed facing down
towards the liquid surface you are monitoring. If there are
objects in the path of the laser that could potentially reflect
the beam, this could result in erroneous level
measurements.
Emails, Calls, Text Alerts
You can add your phone numbers, multiple emails to the
notification list. No matter where you are, you can be in the
know when alarms are triggered.
Testing Your Sensor
After the installation is complete, move the float
bob up or down and keep it there. In few seconds,
the base unit will start beeping with the amber light
flashing. This indicates the alarms have been
tripped and you should get notifications shortly.
