JAVELIN INSTRUCTIONS
Javelin Measurements
Use the folding gauge to check the
javelin’s balance.
Use the tip gauge to check the point
and the length of the javelin head.
Use the grip gauge to check the length
of the grip area.
Use the digital caliper and included
diameter chart to check the diameter
of the javelin at each point defi ned
by rule. Chart is laminated to allow
common measurements to be fi lled in
on the chart with a grease pen.
