Tools Needed:
Ratchet
¾” Socket
¾” Wrench
13mm Wrench
21mm Socket
Bumper Removal Instructions:
1. Unplug 7way plug
2. If equipped with rear sensors, disconnect wiring harness and remove from factory bumper after
bumper has been removed from truck
*Do not pull on rear sensor from behind*
3. Disconnect all wiring from factory rear bumper
4. Using 21mm socket remove bumper mounting bolts
5. Remove 2-13mm bolts from center of receiver and remove factory bumper
6. With a 21mm socket remove L shaped brackets from frame
Installation of Tough Country Replacement Bumper:
1. Position support bracket on the outside of frame, with the l facing outward, with factory hardware and
provided bolts
*Hand tighten bolts*

2. Install bumper onto brackets with provided hardware and hand tighten only
3. Align and adjust to correct placement and tighten securely
4. If equipped with rear sensors, use small screwdriver to open retainer slightly and push sensor through
retainer from the front side of the sensor
5. To remove the sensor sleeves, use the small screwdriver to depress the 4 retainers on each sleeve and
gently push through
*Keep position of sensors sleeves as holes are sensor sleeve specific*
6. Install sleeves into factory bumper sensor holes from the front, by pushing it until it seats
7. Remove 7way plug from factory bumper and install into replacement bumper
8. Remove wiring harness from factory bumper and install onto replacement bumper
9. Install rear sensors into replacement bumper
10. Ensure all connections from wiring harness are secure
