WARNING
To prevent accidental movement of the blade,
always turn the control OFF whenever the
snowplow is not in use. The power indicator
light will turn OFF.
CAUTION
Refer to the online selection tool for minimum
vehicle recommendations and ballast
requirements.
WARNING
Lower the blade when vehicle is parked.
Temperature changes could change
hydraulic pressure, causing the blade to
drop unexpectedly or damaging hydraulic
components. Failure to do this could result in
serious personal injury.
WARNING
Remove blade assembly before placing
vehicle on hoist.
WARNING
The driver shall keep bystanders clear of
the blade when it is being raised, lowered or
angled. Do not stand between the vehicle and
the blade or within 8 feet of a moving blade. A
moving or falling blade could cause personal
injury.
WARNING
Keep hands and feet clear of the blade and
A-frame when mounting or removing the
snowplow. Moving or falling assemblies could
cause personal injury.
WARNING
Do not exceed GVWR or GAWR including the
blade and ballast. The rating label is found on
the driver-side vehicle door cornerpost.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Improper installation and operation could cause
personal injury and/or equipment and property damage.
Read and understand labels and the Owner's Manual
before installing, operating or making adjustments.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Remove ignition key and put the vehicle in park or

Do not wear jewelry or a necktie, and secure long

for ammable liquids and electrical res.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION
Be careful when using gasoline. Do not use gasoline
to clean parts. Store only in approved containers away
from sources of heat or ame.
CELL PHONES
A driver's rst responsibility is the safe operation of
the vehicle. The most important thing you can do
to prevent a crash is to avoid distractions and pay
attention to the road. Wait until it is safe to operate
Mobile Communication Equipment such as cell phones,
text messaging devices, pagers or twoway radios.
VENTILATION
WARNING
Gasoline is highly ammable and gasoline
vapor is explosive. Never smoke while
working on vehicle. Keep all open ames

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: For easier assembly and installation,
vehicle and all snowplow components should
be on a smooth, level, hard surface, such as
concrete.
1. Remove the tow hook/tie down bracket
(passenger's side only) and end caps (both sides)
from the front cross member of the vehicle frame.
Retain these parts and fasteners for reinstallation
if the snowplow mount is removed.
2. If the vehicle is equipped with the optional Toyota
1/4" thick aluminum front skid plate, remove it and
its fasteners, and retain them for reinstallation if
the snowplow mount is removed.
3. Verify that the steel splash pan is present (see
photo below). This splash pan must be present for
mount installation.

6. Using the holes in the front of the mount as
guides, drill one 17/32" hole through the front
of the front cross member on each side of the
vehicle.
7. On both sides of the vehicle, place a washer onto
one of the bolts with the shorter handles, and
pass it into the end of the front cross member and
out through the drilled 17/32" hole and the hole in
the front of the mount. Place a locknut onto each
of these bolts, and fully tighten according to the
torque chart.
8. Fully tighten the fasteners in the underside of the
mount (Step 5) according to the torque chart.
9. Push the rear arm mount stiffeners up tight
against the bottom of the vehicle frame. Using the
rear holes in the mount as guides, drill one 17/32"
hole through the side of the truck frame on each
side of the vehicle.
4. Slide the mount into place with the rear arms
behind the front cross member and above the
splash pan. Align the bottom slots in the front of
the mount with the end cap holes in the bottom of
the front cross member, and clamp the mount in
place.
5. Place a washer onto one of the bolts with the
shorter handles, and pass it up through the bottom
slot in the mount and into the bottom of the front
cross member. Place a washer and locknut into
the end of the cross member and onto the bolt.
Hand tighten, and repeat on the other side.
NOTE: For a more professional appearance,
install the bolts with the handles pointing in
toward the center of the vehicle.
