Inleiding
De trimmeter geeft de stand aan van een Z-drive of
van een trimvlak door middel van een zender die in de
Z-drive of bij het trimvlak is geplaatst.
De trimmeter is geschikt voor 12 V en kan worden toege-
past met min aan massa of massavrij (2-polig).
De zender voor de trimmeter moet een van de stand
afhankelijke weerstandswaarde hebben:
Weerstandswaarde in de hoogste stand: 180 Ω
Weerstandswaarde in de laagste stand: 10 Ω
Installatie
N.B. De nummers verwijzen naar de tekeningnummers.
1 Meetinstrument
Klik de ronde of de vierkante afwerkring op het meetin-
strument. Maak een gat in het paneel en monteer het
instrument zoals aangegeven in de tekening.
2 Aansluiten
Sluit de trimmeter en de lampfitting aan zoals in het
schema is aangegeven.
Opties
3 Aansluitkabel
Als optie is een aansluitkabel (Vetus art. code: TRIMWR)
leverbaar.
Bij gebruik van deze aansluitkabel kunnen + en – 12 Volt
en de schaalverlichting met korte kabels parallel op een
ander afleesinstrument (bijvoorbeeld voltmeter, oliedruk
of temperatuurmeter) worden aangesloten.
Met de 10 meter lange kabel kan de trimmeter met de
gever worden verbonden. Deze kabel kan indien nodig
ingekort worden.
4 Tweede trimmeter
Een tweede trimmeter kan door middel van een inter-
face (Vetus art. code: EP46844, als extra leverbaar) op
dezelfde zender worden aangesloten. Sluit aan zoals in
het schema is aangegeven.

Introduction
The trim gauge shows the position of a Z-drive or a trim
tab by using a transmitter positioned in the Z-drive or
near the trim tab.
The trim gauge is suitable for 12 V and can be fitted with
the negative terminal connected to earth or without an
earth (2-pole).
The resistance of the transmitter used for the trim gauge
must vary according to the position:
Value of resistance for the highest position: 180 Ω
Value of resistance for the lowest position: 10 Ω
Installation
N.B. The numbers refer to numbers shown on the draw-
ing.
1 Gauge
Click the round or square finishing ring on to the gauge.
Cut a hole in the panel and fit the gauge as shown in the
drawing.
2 Connections
Connect the gauge and the light fitting as shown in the
wiring diagram.
Options
3 Connecting cable
A connecting cable can be supplied as an option (Vetus
art. code: TRIMWR).
When this connecting cable is used + and – 12 Volt and
the scale lighting can be connected in parallel to another
gauge (for example, voltmeter, oil pressure or tempera-
ture gauge) using short cables.
The trim gauge can be connected to the transmitter
using the 10-metre cable. If necessary this cable can be
shortened.
4 Second trim gauge
A second trim gauge can be connected to the same trans-
mitter through an interface (Vetus art. code: EP46844,
available as extra option). Connect as shown in the wir-
ing diagram.
