Install Guide For Pre-Spaced Number Decals

Attention, Please Read This FIRST Before Apply

► The Stickers will adhere better on smooth flat surfaces like glass, painted metal, wood with

lacquer etc.

► Do not apply in cold weather (under 50 degrees) - adhesive may stick but will lift easily.

► Do not apply in extreme heat (over 90 degrees) - apply in the shade - Hot vinyl will get very soft

and stretch making it difficult to adhere.

► Do not use alcohol to apply - it will destroy the adhesive. Just use it to clean your surface well,

let it dry before trying to apply.

► Do not use ice scraper or putty knife on the sticker/decal – sharp edges may cause it to lift or

chip pieces off.

► Do not touch the adhesive backing of the decal - oils from your skin will prevent it from stic-

king.

► Before application make sure there is no wax or cleaning products on the surface - adhesive

may stick but will lift easily.

► Don't apply wax over graphics, especially if the wax contains any petroleum distillates.

STEP 1:

CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN the surface you want to use,

Vinyl graphics stick best to smooth clean surfaces. To

ensure good adhesion to any painted surface, it is critical

that you follow these recommended procedures in

decontaminating and preparing the surface prior to any

vinyl product installation.

1. Wash and rinse the area with liquid dish detergent and

warm water – really scrub it down. Then dry the surface

with a clean, lint-free towel or cloth.

2. Finish up the cleaning process by wiping down the

entire area with Isopropyl (rubbing) Alcohol. To avoid

recontamination during the final cleaning step, wipe the

surface in just one direction, using a clean, lint-free towel

or cloth. Let the alcohol evaporate completely. You are

now ready to apply the vinyl.

Install Guide For Adhesive Stickers

STEP 2:

Your numbers will arrive with three layers:

a) The top layer is a transparent transfer tape,

which holds the numbers in place for easy

installation.

b)The middle layer is the Vinyl numbers.

c)The bottom layer is the white wax paper bac-

king, which protects the Vinyl numbers and the

adhesive.

d) The numbers are precut and pre-spaced for a

seamless application.

STEP 5:

Align the sticker in

the desired position

and firmly apply pres-

sure with your hand

to fix the sticker with

the exposed adhesi-

ve.

STEP 6:

With the left hand

start to gently pull the

release paper liner

below the sticker

while you continue to

applying pressure up

and down with your

hand or a plastic card

to adhere the rest of

the sticker on the sur-

face.

Finnaly remove gently

the transparent trans-

fer tape.

STEP 3:

Select the numbers you

want to use and align it

(see the picture), apply

masking tape between

each one to fix the posi-

tion.

Now apply masking tape

to the backing side

between each number.

STEP 4:

Peel a small strip of the

Sticker to expose the

adhesive and bend the

paper liner like is shown

in the image.

NOTE:

If after the instalation are remaining bubbles below

the numbers use a needle to punch it and release

the trapped air.
