l Do not heat without food inside.
l Do not open the lid when frying.
l The surface is hot when frying. Never touch the fryer before it’s cooled to avoid
scald. “Extreme caution must be used when moving fryer containing hot oil.” “Be
sure handles are properly assembled to basket and locked in place. See detailed
assembly instructions.”
l Before rst use, please check carefully if all the parts of the appliance are in good
condition. If not, please contact the supplier or manufacturer. Never use this
appliance if it is not in good condition.
l This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other), To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t into a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t,
contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
l A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to
reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
l Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be
used if care is exercised in their use.
l If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as
great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
grounding 3-wire cord, and
3. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
Using your fryer
1. Introducing the oil or fat
l Press the “ OPEN” button, opening the top lid.
l Lift the basket using the handle.
l Place approximately 1.65 liters of oil or 1.35 kg of hard fat into the fryer body (the
level must always be between the two marks on the oil container wall).
l If you use blocks of fat, cut them into pieces before placing them in the body.
l Set switch of the temperature controller to 150 ℃ (the red Indicator light comes
on). To melt the fat needs roughly 8 minutes.
l Never attempt to melt fat in the basket.
2. Cooking
l Plug in the fryer; Set the temperature controller to the desired temperature
depending on what you are going to cook..
l Press the “ON/OFF” button, the indicator “POWER” comes on, and the indicator
“HEATING” comes on.
l When the indicator “HEATING” goes out (after approx. 5-7 minutes) the fryer
has reached the corresponding temperature. Open the top lid.
l Unfold the handle of the basket.
l Put the food in the basket.
l Lower the basket into the oil slowly; watching the oil level and foam in order to
keep them from reaching the fringe of the oil container conrming the oil level
is appropriate. Fold the handle. Close the lid.
l When the oil reached the desired temperature, the indicator “HEATING” goes
out. Then, while the oil temperature lower than the desired temperature, the
indicator “HEATING” will comes on again automatically, this cycle will keeps
on.
l When the food is cooked, press the “ON/OFF” button, Unplug the fryer or shut
the power socket; the indicator “POWER” goes out. Open the lid. Unfold the
handle to basket’s support (at the top of the basket’s body), raise the basket and
drain the oil.
