Center Differential Assembly Installation Instructions

Installation:

Tip: Refer to the exploded views included with the model

to assist with installation.

1. Flip the chassis upside down and remove the 4x20 CCS

(4) and 3x10 CS (4) from the center skid plate; remove the

4x10 CCS (4) from the rear skid plate (Fig. A)

2. Flip the chassis back on its wheels and remove the 4x16

BCS (2) that attach the wheelie bar to the rear skid plate

(Fig. B).

3. Remove both the center and rear skid plates (Fig. C).

4. Remove the 4x12 BCS (1) from the rear suspension pin

retainer and tie bar (Fig. D); remove the two parts from

the rear lower bulkhead (Fig. E).

5. Release both suspension arms from the front suspension

pin retainer and tie bar (pins can remain in suspension

arms).

6. Remove the 4x12 BCS (2) from the front suspension pin

retainer and tie bar (Fig. F). Remove the two parts from

the rear lower bulkhead (Fig. G).

7. Remove the 4x12 BCS (10) from the rear lower bulkhead

(Fig. H).

8. Remove the rear lower bulkhead to access and remove

the existing center differential assembly (Fig. I).

Reuse the ball bearings, the driveshaft adapter, and

the 3x10 screw pin for installation of the new center

differential assembly (Fig. J).

9. Installation of the new center differential assembly is the

reverse of removal.

Tools needed:

• 2.5mm hex wrench
