Craig CHT978 is a 2.1 channel wireless home theater system, equipped with Bluetooth® wireless technology. The system includes a 37-inch soundbar and a subwoofer. PLACING
INSTALLATION
Loud Speakers:
When take out the Loud Speakers from packing, install it together as the figure below:
Notes:
1. Make sure the speakers net are in same side before insert the left speaker into right
speaker. Otherwise, both speakers may damage.
2. Make sure the left speaker was completely inserted into the right speaker. Otherwise,
no sound from left speaker will be heard.
When placing the Main Unit and/or Subwoofer on an entertainment center, bookshelf, or
any type of enclosed space, be sure to allow at least 2-3 inches of space around them for
ventilation. If they are enclosed in a tight space without ventilation, heat generated from
them could produce a potential heat hazard.

MOUNTING
We recommend having this speaker professionally mounted. By using the included wall
mounting accessories, the Main Unit can be mounted onto a wall.
Distance Between Two Brackets

You may use
1. Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil.
2. Drill the supplied screws directly into the marks that you have made on the wall and
leave approx. 0.3 inch length to hook the sound bar.
3. Put the Main Unit onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.
Mounting on the wall
You may use
1. Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil.
2. Drill 2 x 7/32 inch diameter holes by a powerful electric drill ( Not Supplied ).
3. Insert the supplied plastic inserts into the holes by hammer ( Not Supplied ).
4. Secure the supplied screws into the plastic insert and leave approx. 0.3 inch
length to hook the sound bar.
5. Put the Main Unit onto the mounting screws. Make sure they are firm and stable.

3. Insert the AC plug from the AC Cord to the wall outlet having AC 100-240V~, 50/60Hz
as the figure below:
NOTE:
1. Insert the DC Plug from the supplied small size AC/DC Adapter to the DC IN Jack on
the rear of Main Unit.
2. Insert the AC/DC Adapter to the wall outlet having AC 100- 240V~, 50/60Hz as the
figure below:
1. Insert the DC Plug from the supplied big size AC/DC Adapter to the DC IN Jack on the
rear of Subwoofer.
2. Insert the small plug from the supplied AC Cord to the AC Jack on the supplied big
size AC/DC Adapter.
If long period of time will not use the Main Unit and Subwoofer, disconnect all the
AC/DC Adapter s from the wall outlet.
2. Replace the battery by a new CR2025 button cell with the polarity “+” facing up as the
figure below and the rear of remote control.
3. Close the battery tr ay.

First time using:
Remove and discard the insulation film as the figure on right.
If the battery is consumed, replace it as below:
1. Push and slide out the battery tray as the figure
below and the markings on the rear of the Remote Control.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using a battery in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of battery specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the battery as indicated in the
battery compartment, a reserved battery may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not mix different types of batteries together ( e.g: Alkaline and Carbon-zinc ) or old
batteries with fresh ones.
4. If the batteries in the device are consumed or the device is not to be used for a long
period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge the battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and
rupture. ( Follow battery manufacturer’s instructions.)
6. The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
7. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
8. The Remote Control supplied with a coin/button cell battery. If the coin button cell
battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead
to death.Keep new and used battery away from children. If the battery compartment
does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the
body, seek immediate medical attention.

EFFECTIVE DISTANCE OF REMOTE TRANSMITTER

When there is an obstacle between the Main Unit/Subwoofer and the transmitter may not
operate.
When direct sunlight, an incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp or any other strong light
shines on the REMOTE SENSOR of the unit, the remote operation may be unstable.

1. Connected the AC/DC Adapters to the Main Unit and Subwoofer as previous
procedures. The Red Indicators on the Main unit and Subwoofer will illuminate.
2. Press the SUBWOOFER
Button on the right-top of Remote Control to turn on the
Subwoofer from standby mode. The color of the Red Indicator will turns to Blue and
blinking.
3. Press the Standby/Source Button on the Main Unit or
Button on the left-top of
Remote Control to turn on the Main Unit from standby mode. The color of the Red
Indicator will turns to other correspondent colors.
4. Wait a few seconds until the Subwoofer auto paired to the Main unit. The Blue
Indicator on the Subwoofer will stop blinking.
General Operations:
1. Connected the AC/DC Adapters to the Main Unit and Subwoofer then power on and
pairing them as previous procedures.
2. Press the Standby/Source Button on the Main Unit or press the SOURCE Button on the
Remote Control repeatedly to switch to desired mode. The color of the Indicator on the
Main Unit will turn to:

~ Press the VOL ( Volume ) + or - Buttons on the Main Unit or the Remote Control to
adjust volume level as desired.

~ Press the TREBLE +/- Buttons on the Remote Control to adjust the sound level of treble.

1. When the external BT Device searched the Main Unit, our model number " CHT978 "
will appear on display of external BT Device.
2. Pairing code "0000" or "1234" may need to enter.
Normal operation after paired:
1. Power on the Main Unit/Subwoofer and paired together then select the playback source
2. Turn on the BT function of the external BT Device.
3. Wait a few seconds until the Main Unit paired to the external BT Device automatically.
4. Play the music in the paired BT Device as usual.
5. During playback:
~PresstheTUNE-/
or TUNE +/ Buttons on the Remote Control to skip the
tracks.
~Pressthe Button on the Remote Control to pause. Press again to resume normal
playback.

FM Antenna
The Antenna wire on the rear of the Main Unit is for radio reception. If reception is weak,
unwind and extend the wire or relocate the wire to improve the radio reception.
Listen to FM Radio:
1. Power on the Main Unit/Subwoofer and paired together as previous procedures.
2. Press the Standby/Source Button on the Main Unit or press the SOURCE Button on the
Remote Control repeatedly until the the color of the Indicator on the Main Unit turns to
Green.
6. If the available FM station is stereo, the unit will plays i t in stereo mode automatically. If
the reception is no good, press the MO/ST Button on the Remote Control to switch to
Mono mode. Press again to turn back to Stereo mode.
4. Press and hold the FM Scan Button on the Main Unit until the Green Indicator start
blinking then release the button to start searching

If there is no audio output (only picture) when your TV or DVD player is connected to the
unit, please check t he digital audio output settings of the connected TV/DVD, and set it
to PCM format as the example picture below.
