  • Are these control arms side specific?
Which end of the control arm goes towards the axle?
What is the final torque setting for control arm bolts?
What is the function of the PPM-8053?

GENERAL NOTES:
These instructions are also available on our website;
www.synergysuspension.com. Check the website before you begin for any
updated instructions and additional photos for your reference.
The installation of these control arms will return a 3.0” lifted vehicle back to a
stock caster of 5.0 deg
With the combination of PPM-8053 caster can be correctly adjusted on all lifts
from 0-6.”
1. The control arms are L&R specific. One end has a slightly longer straight end than
the other. This longer end goes towards the axle end.
2. Arms are designed for additional ground and tire clearance and should be installed as
shown in the picture below.
3. Remove the existing lower control arms. If you are just replacing the lower control
arms, they can be replaced one at a time with the vehicle sitting on level ground,
without removing the tires & wheels or any other suspension part.
4. Reuse the factory mounting bolts. We recommend installing the axle end control arm
bolts from the inside so there is minimal rock damage to the exposed thread on the
end of the bolt.
5. Tighten the factory control arm bolts to 125 ft-lbs, wait until the vehicle is at ride
height before tightening the rubber bushing end.
