1.0 BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Easy Spread is intended solely for spreading finely grained materials (sand, gravel
or comparable products).
The spreading drum and mixing shaft of the Easy Spread are driven by a hydraulic
motor and two chain transmissions; one for the spreading drum and one for the mixing
shaft.
The speed of the hydraulic motor can be set continuously variably using the dosing
regulator.
In this way, the material to be spread can be precisely dosed in combination with the
dosing valve.
The spreading density and/or the spreading quantity can be regulated on the basis of
the driving speed, the speed of the spreading drum and the position of the dosing valve.

5.1 INCREASING THE CLOSING PRESSURE OF THE VALVE
*!! CAUTION Only apply when all the other solutions for closing the valve are not
successful!!
*!! When applied incorrectly, this solution may cause the valve mechanism to get
crooked!!
A possible problem for the valve not to close can be caused by the return pressure built up
by the hydraulic system of the tractor.
Through this the return pressure can generate more force than the closing force of the valve
cylinder that is limited by a pressure relief valve.
In order to increase this closing force, the pressure relief valve can be screwed up limitedly
so that the valve can be closed.
This requires careful operation, because a too high pressure may cause the valve or the
closing mechanism to get crooked.
Therefore the pressure should not be screwed up more than necessary!!
In order to increase the pressure screw 1 must be turned clockwise (see Fig. 15).
Try to find the proper setting by experience.
5.1 READJUSTING THE VALVE
After some time the valve may no longer fully close and material may be leaking.
A possibility to make the valve close better is to turn the valve closer to the spreading drum.
This is done as described below (see Fig. 16):
1. Make sure that cylinder 1 is almost fully retracted (± 2 mm stroke left).
2. Loosen counternut 2.
3. Turn closing rod 3 making the valve press with the rubber against the
spreading drum.
4. Retighten counternut 2.
