Granite
Granite is a natural material with inherent variations in colour, marks and surface
textures and this is most oen considered an advantage from an aesthetic point of
view. However, it does mean that you cannot assume a single sample tile will give you
an accurate indication of a larger area. We also strongly recommend that you use a
professional installer/ xer who is experienced in tting natural stone.
Ceramic tiles
Shade variation is an inherent feature of the manufacturing process. We recommend
that tiles are loosely laid out and ‘blended’ prior to xing to achieve the most pleasing
distribution of shades. Dierences between batches can be more marked, for this
reason we recommend that you buy all the tiles at one time. No liability for shading
issues can be accepted aer installation.
Sealing
It is strongly advisable to seal granite and polished porcelain tiles before commencing
installation. is protects the tiles from excessive adhesive or grout staining the tiles
during the installation process.
Adhesives and grouts
Always use high quality adhesives and grouts following manufacturers’
recommendations for their use and suitability for the type of tile, the application and
the substrate being tiled.
Cleaning
Please note, the use of certain acid-based cleaning products may cause granite and
polished porcelains to react and change character.

Owing to variations in studio lighting and printing inks, the tile colours shown in this
catalogue may dier slightly from those of the actual tiles.
Limits of Liability
Stovax and Gazco accept no liability for the faulty installation of its products. In the
case of any claim relating to the tiles themselves, Stovax and Gazco’s liability, to the
extent permitted by law, is limited to either the replacement of the product or a refund
of the cost of the product, and does not extend to cover any consequential loss. Claims
must be reported within seven working days from receipt of the tiles. Tiles must be
inspected prior to installation and claims cannot be considered aer the tiles have been
installed.
Please be advised that installation constitutes acceptance of the quality, colour, texture
and shade of the tiles. Stovax and Gazco warrants that its tiles conform to their
description and are t for their purpose. Stovax and Gazco makes no other express or
implied warranty as to tness or suitability of the products for particular installations.
We extend no guarantees, express or implied, as to wear resistance or maintenance
procedures.
